Went here with my friend yesterday after noon. I fell in love with the variety of beer on tap! I would love to come back here... with a friend or by myself again. The server helped me find the best stout Ive ever had in my life (vanilla porter, i think?),which tasted like an iced coffee! This truly is a Genius Pub!!! My partner and I decided to have an early dinner here after a great day date at the AGO. From the... moment we walked in and sat down close to the bar to the time we left it was nothing but an amazing experience!! The decor isvery English and the staff is kind, courteous and polite. They took our drink orders and promptly brought them to us less then 4minutes later. We both ordered Fish & Chips and can say with confidence its probably the best Fish&Chips we've had in Toronto.The coleslaw was a perfect balance of flavour not overpowered by too much cream (which it normally a common mistake in mostplaces). The fries were cut to the perfect thickness with a slightly salted crunch on the outside and soft centre. The homemadetarter sauce was a perfect balance and the battered fish was outstanding! Normally after Fish&Chips I feel guilty due to thegrease but this left no guilt behind!! It was light, crunchy, well seasoned and the fish just melted in your mouth. Not only wasis pure perfection but it wasn't even a long wait after ordering. We each had 2 beers with our order and were out of there 40minutes after arrival I can't wait to have another meal here again, I was going to take a picture of our order but honestly bythe time I remembered my plate was clean, maybe next time. The sausage tastes amazing! Definitely recommend a try! You will not regret for sure! The wrap is more like an average level.... Plus I said I want it to come with salad but I got fries instead. But the server is super friendly. Overall I would stillrecommend this place. Read more
Came here for drinks and it was great, but SUPER loud. This is a fave spot for a lot of people, so it was pretty crowded even on... a Wednesday night. I could barely hear the person across the table from me, so if you?re looking to get good conversation in,I?d maybe recommend another place. Having said that, the beer selection great and our server was super nice and attentive. It?sdefinitely a nice place to get rowdy (but not too rowdy) with a group of friends. All in all, great beer, great environment,great service. Can?t ask for much more! Read more
