We made dinner reservations here after recommendations and it did not disappoint. The appetizer, side, and main were top notch.... A special mention to the fantastic cocktails served as well. We had the Soutzoukakia, the Taramasalata, and the warm sea foodsalad. The Taramasalata was the star. Didn't have room for dessert, maybe next time cause I'm sure we will go back. Highly recommend, food and service is outstanding. I had the lamb shank and saganaki they flamed the cheese at the table (I love... when they do that!) lamb shank wasn't too gamey and cooked perfect, meat was falling off the bone, perfect portions of veggies.Staff are ON POINT. they check on you, refill your water/wine.. Chris is the GM really nice man. I look forward to hosting asmall event here next week. Yes they have a private event space. ???????????????????? I will be back! I enjoyed the best dining experience I ever had in Toronto at Volos. The management-level staff member, Peter, was warm and... helpful, answering all questions my table of four had about the dishes and the wine, even though he was busy socializing withand assisting many other parties. My table ended up ordering every single one of their appetizers as well as three dips andenjoyed each one of them. We refilled our bread at least five times just so we can continue savoring the unique and deliciousflavors of each dish and dip. For the entrees, the moussaka was the standout with its perfect blend of spices and uniquetexture, though each entree was delicious. Finally, we had all of the desserts and enjoyed each of them too. Peter was also ableto recommend the perfect wines to pair with the dishes that we enjoyed. If you are making a reservation, you won't regret askingto be helped by Peter if you want friendly service and genuine personal opinions regarding the items on the menus. Spreads were good. For some reason they were served with baguette breads. Not sure if that's common here but I was expecting... some fresh pita bread. Texture of the baguette was too hard for me. Also didn't have enough servers. 1-2 guys were attending thewhole restaurant. Obviously didn't receive good service - didn't offer to refill the water or soda once. Took forever to bringthe check. I recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at your establishment while attending my Goddaughter's Bridal Shower. Absolutely... everything was impecabile, from ambiance, the outstanding service and excellent cuisine. Everyone was pleasant, articulate, kindand attentive. 3 stars for food and 5 star for service, their chicken egg and lemon soup tasted of nothing missing so much seasoning. The... grilled calamari was over seasoned all I could taste was black pepper.
