I've tried so many Hakka restaurants in Toronto and Wong's is by far the best! It actually tastes like the Hakka food I remember... having as a kid in India. Their manchurian fish is amazing and a good sized portion as well. So happy to have found them. Read more
Haven?t really tried Hakka food before so got curious and stopped by here to give it a try. Since don?t know much about Hakka... cuisine I just asked the takeout lady for her recommendation. Ordered the chilli chicken and chicken spring rolls, and a sideof fried rice. I can definitely see the Indian influence in the spring rolls since it has a strong curry flavor which was quitenice and stayed crispy when got gone with the takeout. The chilli chicken was super juicy and succulent . The flavor profileis similar enough to Chinese dishes that I recognize it. For having such large amount of green chilli in it, it wasn?t as spicyas I thought it would be. It?s sauce goes excellent with the fried rice.
