Wychwood Pub located at Bathurst & St-Clair Avenue West is not just a place to have a drink and some food - It is a great place... to meet and share laughs and stories with new friends or catch a soccer game with a lively group. Lise and Christina, are thevery best!!! and the Souvlaki Dinner with Double Greek Salad has me coming in every week! This place with amazing regulars,fantastic bartenders and an owner who cares about his establishment and the community is the best :). Formal Fridays is the bestidea ever!!! Read more
Let me start off by saying this place is not for everyone, if it was it wouldn?t be the neighbourhood gem that it is. The staff... is incredibly generous and fun and the happy hour prices are extremely approachable. That being said, if you don?t want to sitaround the bar and make friends STAY AWAY. If you hate fun and good conversation STAY AWAY. I suppose this bar is not foreveryone cause most people aren?t the funny and welcoming patrons that hang around here. This wonderful establishment has a kind atmosphere that welcomed you as if you were a part of the family. The service is quick... and attentive. I have to say when eating in, the food and portions are fantastic. However, takeout portions are stingy and quite pathetic for... the price. I will not order takeout are ever patronize Wychwood Pub ever again. Read more
We walked by the Wychwood Pub many times, but never went in. Until last weekend when we tried to our usual dinner place and it... was closed. In fact, at 10 pm, all except this pub was closed. We were surprised to find a very friendly, casual, relaxing, andclean place to have some beer and dinner. Everything was great. The lamb burger I ordered was excellent. There are big screen TVeverywhere for sports events. There are areas for introverted and extroverted. And there are many kinds of beer. Read more
Looks downscale and the clientele spans a wide range. But the burgers are damn fine, they have Beau?s on tap, and the service... is absurdly friendly. Street patio super dog-friendly. With all the condos going up in the area this place will just getbetter and better. Read more
