Outstanding food, great service and the environment was wonderful. The staff spent lots of time explaining each item and it made... my first omakase experience amazing. Would definitely recommend if you haven't been to an omakase before. Read more

A truly incredible culinary experience that everyone must try at least once. They only use the highest quality ingredients and... it’s translated in the taste. The Omakase is also priced very reasonably for such high quality ingredients. I went here duringthe Rogers outage and the staff were really accommodating with the debit/Interac outage in a very professional manner. Read more

Unfortunately this place has ruined my ability to do all you can eat sushi. The quality was unmatched. The presentation was... stunning. The service was impeccable. Easily one of the best meals I've had all year. This isn't a cheap evening so I'd treatit as a special occasion venue but even still I'd certainly be back again. Read more

The closest Omakase you can experience while not traveling to Japan. The food was well prepared and with the every bite that... the chefs presented was a great surprise with taste and texture. I surprisingly loved the monkfish liver (not going to gofurther on how it was, it’s for you to experience ????) Read more

Great experience! The food was unique and delicious, with two main categories of fish: 1. exotic delicacies that I've never had... before, like monkfish liver (I won't spoil any other surprises for you!) 2. fish that I've had before, like scallops, but somuch better as if to be another fish. The service was generally good. Some room for improvement here. The general atmospherewas enticing and appealing. Would recommend it to any sushi lovers! Read more

Five star service. My boyfriend booked Yasu for my Birthday celebration, this was my first Omakase experience. I enjoyed it... immensely. Presentation was exquisite, along with server’s explanation of every type of sushi and region it comes from. Highlyrecommend to try sake paring. Not cheap , but you get high quality fish, freshly prepared and memorable authentic Japaneseexperience. Read more

For how much it costs, I was expecting something more than just very good quality fish and excellently prepared rice. For better... or for worse, most of the dishes are reasonably traditional sushi, perhaps with the occasional unusual garnish. Overall, themenu plays extremely safely and I rarely felt challenged or that I was eating something novel and unique. If you're looking fora very good but unexciting experience, this restaurant may be for you. If you're looking for creativity, go elsewhere. For ameal that costs almost $200/person after tax and tips, I was disappointed. Read more
