As a Chinese person, I was a bit hesitant to come here for overpriced dim sum, but it did NOT disappoint! The dishes were... flavorful and had a fancy twist to the original concept. Loved the presentation and the service was really amazing. Our waiterwas knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely would come back so someone else can experience their amazing food, but it does comeat a cost. Tea alone was $12 and for 2 people, we paid $75 with tax & tip. Read more
It?s a great experience with Yu Seafood fine restaurant in Yorkdale mall. Excellent food with Chinese traditional elegant... decoration. My wife likes the fried fish with vegetables, which the fish stand up like Chinese folding fan. We also got greatservice from their staff, they explained the different kind of fresh ingredients and how they cooked them. Read more
We have such amazing expe experience here for our mom's birthday dinner. The staffs are so friendly, quick and accommodated all... our requests. We ordered dinner set for 8 people and totally worth it. The foods are well seasoned, flavorful, not too heavy oroily and beautifully plated. Definitely coming back to try their dimsum menu. Tucked away on the second floor in a corner of the mall, this restaurant has great decor, good service and good food, and it... should for the steep price tag. The dish presentation was creative and visually appealing (ex. chicken served in a birdcage,duck carved table side) and the flavours were balanced between sweet and spicy and savoury. Portions were big and the courseswere not rushed. I?d be interested in seeing what their sushi or dim sum is like, but would go back for a nice dinner orspecial occasion. Read more
Food 5/5 I have been regular customer at their Markham location for a long time. Food is just as great with better presentation... here. Place: Very very nice interior design! Recommend for business meal/ date or any events/ important occasion! Price4/5 Higher price than the Markham location. But considering its inside Yorkdale and is also better design, it make sense. I am writing this review based on the three times I've been here for both lunch (dim sum) and dinner. I've been to the Richmond... Hill location, this location is much more upscale. Menu is a little different. It's a very pricey place for Chinese food.Everything we ordered was very tasteful. However the last meal we had, the service was lacking. Usually the service isexcellent. Maybe it lacked some staff that evening but many items came in Uber slow and it was tough getting service. We had toask for water 3 times until it came. The Peking duck was missing garnishes for 15 minutes. We did tell the manager and hebrought them out himself. Dim sum is very delectable here. It is quite expensive but it's an experience different from manyother restaurants. We even ordered the lobster rice roll which was like $29. Very delicious! I'd come back again :) Read more
Love the atmosphere here, very elegant and spacious. Our family had the 6lbs lobster combo with the Peking duct and a few... additional dishes. Food was nicely presented, but the taste was average. The soy chicken came in a fancy cage but it was so dry.The lobster was good. Soup was salty. Peking duck was decent. Fried rice was plain. You can find better value elsewhere. Read more
