What a treat! I visited for dessert just before they closed on a Saturday night and they were kind enough to seat us. We had... their house-made key lime pie, carrot cake & a vanilla shake; yum, yum, yum. I definitely want to go back for a delisandwich. edit: I have since returned 3 more times; had the Clubhouse, the Rueben, a Black Cherry Milkshake, the Key Lime Tartand Matzah Ball Soup?everything is delicious! I am in town from Vancouver for three Blue Jays games and prior to coming looked up deli's in Toronto for smoked meat... sandwiches. Zeldens came up and it did not disappoint. Had the basic smoked meat sandwich with coleslaw and it couldn't havebeen better! The meat was gorgeous and the light rye was perfect. Highly recommend. The rest of the menu looks fantastic and ifI lived in town anywhere near this area I would be a regular for sure! Nice easy going atmosphere. The owners obviously takegreat care with their product. Amazing! Definitely suggest to check out this restaurant. Efficient service and very attentive and friendly staff! I went for a... trip to Montreal and tried my first smoked meat sandwich there at Schwartz's and when I returned to Toronto I just missed it sotried to google places in Toronto and found Zelden's Deli. This local gem is 10000/10 !!! For quality, quantity/portion and experience with the amazing, sweet owners! Everything was so... delicious! We ordered. Corned beef deli, smoked meat deli & a Reuben! Everything just melted in our mouths and the sides were anadded luxury! The size of their onion rings was out of this world! Best experience and best smoked meat and deli sandwiches intown! I would love to come back and enjoy forever ???? Thanks Zelden?s for the amazing eats!!!! Came back to experience thedine-in experience now that mandates have been lifted and we had such an awesome time!!!! The plating was beautiful andeverything tasted SO FRESH all around!
