I really enjoyed the Poke here at Ali'i, fresh, fresh, fresh. That is a big deal for me on Poke you can judge the first bought... on how "bright" the fish is to your mouth when you take that first bite. I like the salad rice combo bowl, right proportion ofeach. The second big deal for me is the rice, I think I saw it come out of a light blue tub (sushi rice maker) and after I gothome it tasted like a lightly flavored sushi rice. Out of all the Poke places in da' south bay, this was the best. Notoverpowering and not scooped up with an ice cream scooper like other places and it was not wet. Bravo for that. Read more

Very fresh, but the flavors were too overpowering for me personally. I?d rather eat their fish as is. The fish had this sticky... texture to it and I might have tasted the freshest fish here. That?s why I thought it?s a shame they added any flavor at all. There?s no need for masking or improvement when the ingredients are so fresh! After trying different flavors, I went with what Ithought were the most mild, and even they ended up being too salty that I had to take big spoonful of rice with every bite tobalance out the sodium, making the small portion of poke enough in the end. Perhaps I was dehydrated at the time or I don?t knowwhat authentic poke is supposed to taste like, or the cook that day tends to over-marinate, who knows. When I go back, hopefullythey?ll have something lighter. In terms of freshness, they got my utmost respect, and I?m willing to eat with a big bowl ofrice on the side again if need be. Hopefully not. This is the best poke I?ve had in LA! Everything is so steeped in flavor and so fresh. I had the spicy ahi and hawaiian ? they... also let you try samples of the poke before purchasing. My rice bowl came with brown rice. Read more

Poke was average, service super slow. We went at 7 pm and three of their poke's was empty. The girl working out front was nice... but too slow. She WEIGHED everything! Rice, veggies, poke, etc. A guy in back brought out one of the empty poke's but didn'teven attempt to help the girl with 4 or so people waiting. A bit expensive, we got a sampler for $16, you get three choices ofpoke and I'm guessing 2 oz of poke each as it was literally 5 or 6 pieces of fish each. Read more

I adore this place! I frequented the El Segundo location, and was thrilled to see they have expanded to Torrance. This poke is... legit. For all of my fellow Hawai'i expats, this is the closest I have experienced to Foodland poke on the mainland. None of thetypical mainland 'bowl of mixed greens with an ice cream scoop of mushy fish' here. Real, FRESH, firm cubes of fish, seasonedperfectly. The rice is high quality as well. In addition to having the best poke in the greater Los Angeles area, the kalua pigis excellent as well. My only wish is that kalua loco moco was available for delivery on Doordash. I would open up my walletfast enough to break the sound barrier. Read more

Great Quality Fish and food! I?ve eaten over a thousand different poke spots in my lifetime and I know the difference between... Americanized poke and traditional poke. This is traditional! The female that helped me was very kind and helpful since it was myfirst time. Both the flavor and texture of the rice and fish was perfect.. Sizing is smaller than normal portions. But you willget full! Trust me! Pricey more than the usual, but this is Traditional Authentic style poke. So pricing is premium and worthit. Parking is very small and the only downside to the location. But there?s parking elsewhere around, and thestreets. Overall the Experience and Food Was Excellent!! Read more
