At the end of the night, the hostess got the bill to us much faster than our food. We waited here for almost an hour and change... for two rolls when there were three empty tables and maybe six chefs behind the counter. I can believe they gave me the salmon with the skin on it! That is disgusting!!!!! Second, the salmon have weird things all over... it and smell like spoiled fish. The Philadelphia roll was also testing weird so I had to trash everything. I told them more thanonce I didn?t want wasabi, but they not only didn?t listen but also put it all over the Philadelphia roll. ??????????? Askedfor extra eel sauce and didn?t got it at all ???? and asked for extra ginger that I also didn?t got it. ??????????? Went for lunch on a Sunday. Only a few tables taken. Lot's of people doing large trays to pick up. Order two different rolls and... both were fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back. They do have outdoor seating under a tent in the parking lot. Read more
Tonight I tried Fusion Sushi located on PCH in Torrance. Despite my initial disappointment in the diameter size of my Sushi... Rolls ???? I realized that I should put aside my negativities and dive in. The food tasted absolutely amazing. Instead of sixslices of sushi I was surprised to see there was actually eight slices. I purchased the Shrimp Roll ???? that was pretty goodand a Lobster Roll ????which I strongly recommend as it was bursting with flavor. However, I could not tell if it was Lobster orminiature Shrimps in place of it, lol. ???? As for my drink, I think they could have given a more generous size of their yummyraspberry iced tea as it wasn't very big. Price was fairly reasonable and comparative to how delicious the meal was. My dinnertonight was fantastic and I'm most definitely going to return. 4 Stars from me. ???? If you're looking for a great local sushispot and haven't stopped in yet, then you have to try them. This is where my fiance took me on our first date and I didn't know that he and his family had been coming here over 30yrs. The... staff is friendly and treat everyone kindly. Now that I've been going for a few years I definitely have some favorites. Thepopeye which is a dish of fried spinach and garlic with sliced tuna and a light sauce they make is just mouth watering. We haveto get it every time we go in. The mackerele is another favorite of mine as well. The pink lady i do like but dont get oftenbecause its fried is still a special treat for me. Depending on whos working in the back they always bring a special dish outfor us to have. One night it was a full seared and charred fish that was just flaky and tender. So, this was my 2nd time here. And both times I've experienced borderline bad unfriendly service. I also find their menu... confusing. But then again I was not ordering sushi. The service is on time and accurate but they are unfriendly and not helpfulwhen asking questions. Probably my last time I will go there. But what we do order is good. This time I had ramen. A friend had eaten here and recommended it. Their menu has a lot of selections other than sushi, even Korean BBQ. Around the... dining room there are many other options posted on papers so I recommend that you have a good look around before ordering! Atour table we liked the Yellowtail Star Roll, the shu-mai dumplings, and the tempura combination plate. The food is good andservice is friendly and kind.
