We ate here two times recently. Both were good. The first time we were seated in the patio area and enjoyed it. It's enclosed... but you get the feeling of being outside. That dinner we had a wonderful server. I can't remember her name but she wasfriendly and really treated us well especially my kids. She made my kids night when she gave him extra sprinkles for his kidssundae. The food is good standard diner type fare. The dessert selection is great. I got a mini pie to go both times. Ohh Igot breakfast for dinner one time and ordered a blueberry muffin instead of toast or biscuit and took it home to go and ate itfor breakfast the next day. Definitely will go back. First time here and it was good. The reason for 3 star was because of service. It was busy in the morning but once we got seated... the waiter didn't check in as much and forgot my daughter's breakfast of cinnamon roll french toast combo. She didn't finish itbecause it was really sweet especially with the syrup. I ordered the fresh fruit waffle combo which is pictured and it was good,only problem I had was that it was also too sweet, a little too much strawberry syrup for me. I did get to try a dessert thatthey have, an individual strawberry banana meringue pie, more banana than strawberry inside it. Read more

I've been eating at this place since when me and family first moved in Torrance 2002. Then again in 2011. Sort of reminds me of... Marie Calendar's, but it's better. ???? are delicious especially the ????. My mom and I recently had breakfast last week. Verygood. Read more

I heard so much about this place. Decided to try it for our Ladies’ lunch group. I tried the tuna melt along with a friend... that had it in the past. She said it didn’t look like the Tuna Melt she was use to getting at Hof Hut, which was suppose to beon sour dough bread. She said the bread is usually thick cut. It looked and tasted like grilled store bought white bread (seephoto). Another friend had to ask for a knife, then for her toast which finally came towards the end of her meal and wasslightly burnt. Waitress never asked if we wanted separate bills. Waitress left so many straws and napkins on the table that weleft unused. Not impressed with lunch but I’m willing to come back and try dinner. Delicious food, a little bit busy at lunch time, but overall good....they forgot to bring utensils for eating....coffee ?... really good.... pancakes fluffy and moist... like said before good experience.... delicious pies and muffins, cheesecake andpastries .... breakfast all day.... Read more

A good breakfast place, but if you go later for lunch or dinner, the cakes, pies, and tarts are to die for. The portions are... pretty big for one meal unless you're really hungry. The hot turkey open-sandwich (pictured below) had some of the best turkeyI've had in a while. A bit of a pricey pick, though. Read more

This place is fantastic! We went here twice already, and will definitely visit again and again. All of the dishes we tried are... amazing and delicious (super large, though, and we always have leftovers). They have a lot of options in their menu to fitanyone’s tastes. Everything is served quickly, and the ingredients are always fresh. A very nice place to go for dinner. Read more
