The food here tastes amazing. The “skewer” items are a very generous portion. Try the beef tongue. The meat is extremely... tender and soft. The strip steak has a great sauce with it. The Kobe beef and uni sashimi is incredible. Read more

My favorite spot ever in Torrance seriously a hidden gem. I love everything about this place. The food, sake, seating and the... interior! Oh and the staff are amazing too. #1 tip book a resy (well prior to the pandemic resys were easy to make here, notsure about now) I love their seasonal sake menu prior to the pandemic. Which was awesome pairing it with the food here. I lovetheir beef tongue my favorite dish I always get when I come here. Honestly I have tried almost everything here nothing everdisappointed me. TL;DR: over rated and over priced. I would rate it 4 stars but it just does not justify itself for the price. I was told that... the beef tongue is awesome, and it did turn out to be good, however not awesome. The jidory chicken is also not bad but nothingspecial. I was putting high expectations on the yakitori but they were just average and I would have forgotten about them by nowif not for the photos. Chazuke is good but a bit too salty in my opinion. Oh I also ordered a negi-toro roll but it wasnothing photo worthy. I also did not like the fact that the waitress kept asking me to order so frequently after I was seated,but took quite a while to swip my card. Read more
