Today I visited Lucille's a place that I personally like very much. I must say that it was quite a disappointing experience. ... Waiting time was over an hour on Monday with many empty tables; the food took too long. The waiter never removed the startersand when the food finally arrived; the ribs were not cut and somewhat cold. The waiter had a very bad look on his nails. Andthey charged me twice the dish I ordered. And they give and charge me for extra slide that I never ordered. They never took thedishes and rubbish from the table. Great service! Everyone kept coming by and checking up on us. We didn't even need to ask for refills, they automatically come by... and fill us up. And best part is they provide hot towels now for when we are done. Read more
I haven't been here in forever.. definitely kept all the good features with just enough updates. The wait staff seemed busy but... not overwhelmed. Very prompt and professional. I've had really good BBQ all over the country, this was not one of those. The brisket was woefully undercooked (it's not... supposed to be tough and chewy). The ribs were undercooked and under-seasoned (also chewy and refused to pull from the bone;sauce was decent, but no rub). The chicken was dry and lacked any flavor. Overall, I had a hard time finding any kind of smokeflavor in the meal. Mashed potatoes and biscuits were good. I would recommend getting something other than the BBQ. Read more
