I've had really good BBQ all over the country, this was not one of those. The brisket was woefully undercooked (it's not... supposed to be tough and chewy). The ribs were undercooked and under-seasoned (also chewy and refused to pull from the bone;sauce was decent, but no rub). The chicken was dry and lacked any flavor. Overall, I had a hard time finding any kind of smokeflavor in the meal. Mashed potatoes and biscuits were good. I would recommend getting something other than the BBQ. Read more

Today I visited Lucille's a place that I personally like very much. I must say that it was quite a disappointing experience. ... Waiting time was over an hour on Monday with many empty tables; the food took too long. The waiter never removed the startersand when the food finally arrived; the ribs were not cut and somewhat cold. The waiter had a very bad look on his nails. Andthey charged me twice the dish I ordered. And they give and charge me for extra slide that I never ordered. They never took thedishes and rubbish from the table. Great service! Everyone kept coming by and checking up on us. We didn't even need to ask for refills, they automatically come by... and fill us up. And best part is they provide hot towels now for when we are done. Read more

I haven't been here in forever.. definitely kept all the good features with just enough updates. The wait staff seemed busy but... not overwhelmed. Very prompt and professional. The signature drinks were good. I find most to be a bit on the sweet side, butnope! I had their version on the Spicy Chicken sandwich, full of flavor but could use a bit more kick to live up to the name.Overall 5 stars. Went here for lunch and has good service and a yummy meal. I got the tri tip sandwich and my friend got the tri tip salad. Her... salad looked really fresh and had big slices of avocado which is always good. We both were happy with our meals. We also had thewhole patio pretty much to ourselves. Been here many times. Today was no different other than to write a good review. I got their Southern Fried Catfish and shrimp... served with fries, coleslaw, and two types of tartar sauces. Their fries were cold and could have had a touch of fresh. The restof the meal was delicious and would get it again. Wife got their Jambalaya which was better in many ways in comparison to otherrestaurants that serve Southern style cuisine. Finally our daughter got their kid meal with Smoked and BBQ pork ribs. TheirHomemade biscuits are amazing with the apple and cinnamon butter. Don't suggest eating a lot of those if you want to save youappreciate for the main courses. Biscuits were amazing and the deviled eggs were the top two favorites, the ribs and brisket missed the mark for our group that... is accustomed to bbq from the great State of Texas. The greens were not a fan favorite either and the macaroni and cheese wasreminiscent of Kraft Mac & Cheese. The meal ended with the waitress bringing warm wet towels to the table so we could wipe offany excess sauce which was a nice touch. This was not the best bbq I've experienced, it was okay and I guess sometimes it'sbetter to ask what the more popular menu items are versus trying your favorites because the way an item is prepared differs atevery restaurant.
