Ok let me just start by saying the food is ok, my issue is someone needs to teach the cooks proper portioning & how to make a... proper Philly. As chef myself I can tell you proper portioning brings all the flavor together. I went in today & order a chickenphilly with bell beepers & onions. & all I tasted was the bell peppers & onions. Let me explain, when making a philly the onion& bell pepper should be thin to medium slice or dice. My sandwich had large chunks . You?re also supposed to incorporateeverything evenly so that when you bite into it it doesn?t taste just like one specific ingredient. All my bell peppers & onionswere at the bottom of the Philly which basically makes the hole Philly taste like bell peppers & onions. Not to mention whenmaking a ?chicken Philly? you should always use less bell peppers & onions cause they will over power the natural flavor of thechicken. Long story short the manager needs to properly train his cooks or find some that know how to properly make a Phillycause it the best point ?Philly?s Best? taste like californias worst. To the manager or owner, if you see this review I?d bemore than happy to come train your cooks on proper portioning & how to make a tasty Philly. You can tell by the photo I postedthat this Philly is basically onions & bell & considering the price I paid for this Philly, I basically got ripped off. Probablyshouldn?t have let a tip Read more

It was hubby?s idea to check out Philly?s Best. I?m not a Philly cheese steak fan, so I wasn?t excited about it. There was no... greeting when we entered, and there were these handmade written signs throughout the place. ?Uber pick up,? ?Do not throw awaytrays,? etc.. they just took away from the professionalism of the restaurant. Hubby went ahead and ordered his Philly, and Iwent with a burger and fries since I?m not a fan of Philly. It was actually not bad. Good tasting burger and fries. Hubby seemedto have enjoyed his sandwich as well. What really grossed me out tho was the soda fountain. While getting a soda, I noticed howgross and disgusting it was. Not only just the drain but even the top of the fountain. It immediately was a turnoff, and Idecided not to even get a soda. They need to do a better job at cleaning. Three people were working that day, two girls and aguy who looked like he was either the manager or owner. One could?ve walked around to clean the fountain and even the tables.Cleanliness is crucial for me, and for that, we will not be coming back. It makes me question their cleanliness for the rest ofthe restaurant. Read more

I'm from Philly, so I know what an authentic cheese steak should taste like. I drove 14 miles. My sandwich was kinda skimpy. ... The little meat that I got on it just wasn't flavorful. I got more mushrooms & onions than meat, but I was happy that it wasserved on the original Italian Ammorosa rolls. Read more

More like Phillys WORST. Coming back from Philly on a business trip and searching for an Authentic Cheesesteak back home in LA.... Jeez... I dont even know where to begin.... Service was quick and friendly, that's about it. The Amoroso Roll was fresh whichwas very surprising. The meat didnt have any seasoning, the onions were cut way too large and not grilled long enough. TheWiz... was... atrocious.... If you're looking for an Authentic Cheesesteak save your time and money. Order from Jim'sCheesesteaks in South Philly and pay for the shipping. It's the best way to get the real deal! Read more
