This place never disappoints. The eggplant appetizer and the linguine with clams were outstanding. The food and service are... consistently excellent every time we’re dined here. We’ll be back. Read more

We've been twice, both times the server (same one both times) was extremely slow. The food is really good, but plan on a long... dinner. We understand that nice restaurants are not trying to turn tables and want you to enjoy your time, but this was overthe top. Read more

The best Italian in the South Bay. Great employees, great interior, and great food. Friendly and perfect experience every time.... Parking is no problem. I go there at least twice a month for years now. Read more

Great experience. I sat at the bar, Decker and Jake were bartending and took care of me. Decker was really knowledgeable, funny,... and made excellent cocktails when I told him to surprise me. Jake was super attentive and made me feel at home at the bar. I hadthe gnocchi for an app which was super buttery and the ravioli broccolini was lovely. Highly recommend. Read more

Extremely disappointed nothing authentic Italian about this place, actually I would not even call it Italian it is more... American. The sauce tasted like a cheap can of spaghetti sauce the Linguine & Clams had so much Chile flakes really Chileflakes. Service was horrible waited 22 min. after we were seated before we even saw our waiter. This place would not last 1 weekin New York. Do your self a favor don't waste your time or your money. Primo is not your average Italian spot, the recipes and flavors are truly authentic and have a running theme of being rustic in... nature. The vibes were emaculate as we went on a Friday night and there was live piano that night. My family ordered twoantipasti with the calamari and gnocchi, both had distinct flavors and the calamari was crispy without tasting too much like theocean. The gnocchi was creamy and nutty, just perfect. The main course had excellent portions and the parpardelle was cooked aldente and the sauce was full flavored. I would recommend anyone in the area to swing by and give it a shot, you won't bedisappointed. Read more

We had a great experience here. It is a hidden spot. My boyfriend is Italian. His mom always made great Italian food for him... when he was young, So he has very picky about Italian food. Since we moved to Redondo Beach, he wanted to find a good ItalianRestaurant in this area. We are too lazy to drive to Downtown LA. However, this place has a great Margherita; Polpo Alla Grigliawas good as an appetizer and Linguini con Vongole was excellent. Also, We enjoyed the piano play. We recommend it to ourneighbor. Had a nice post-anniversary Friday dinner out at Primo. We requested patio seating, and were seated promptly at our reservation... time. The service was very friendly and attentive (water glasses always full). I started with a well-crafted Negroni. The foodwas all quite good. The wild boar pappardelle was the stand-out dish, and the fresh warm bread with olive tapenade wasexcellent. I thought the pear and burrata salad would have been elevated by some bitter mixed greens to contrast with therichness of the cheese and the sweetness of the pear and balsamic reduction. The cannoli were very good with a freshly brewedcup of Lavazza decaf to round out the night. There was a live pianist playing for the evening, but I thought it was a bit loudfor the space. I was grateful to be seated outside where we could still hear each other speak. Read more
