This used to be my go to place especially because many of the ingredients are organic. One of my favorite dishes that I buy is... the beef braise. It's affordable and up until now was a decent portion size. Tonight when I opened the bag to check my orderthey had a little tiny plastic rectangular container with two compartments where they had put a hot soup and the mashed potatoesin the other section. It used to come in a very large paper bowl that was microwavable safe with a nice portion of mashedpotatoes. The mashed potatoes might be approximately the same amount as they used to be, but the beef braise is now 1/3 thesize. I asked them to repack it as I do not like hot liquids in plastic it needs to be in a cup with a lid where it cannot leak.The cup they packed it into is a quarter of the size of the Bowl they used to pack it in. For $15 and some odd change I expect adecent portion, not something that is mostly gravy with no meat very few mushrooms and a third of what it should be size-wise. Iordered a different meal a few nights ago and the steak I asked for as well done was so poorly made that it didn't even resemblesteak. I don't know what's going on with the people that are preparing the meals but clearly they need better supervision. Alsoas they raise prices stop shrinking the entrees. I also found it laughable that a simple turkey plate for Thanksgiving they havethe nerve to charge $24 for. Same size as their regular entrees, Turkey does not cost more than beef or salmon. I went here since the restaurant has healthy options and I tried the braised beef & mushrooms bowl which was cold. I paid around... 16$ for the dish. I might try another dish again later since everything on the menu looks amazing but this one was tasteless Read more

After one week in the US we finally found a place that serves good and health food, has very good vegetarian options and isn't... breaking the bank. I absolutely recommend this place! The ambience is nice, the staff is awesome. Read more
Urban Plates has fresh fare and many healthy options, not to mention that every menu item is delicious. Most recently tried... there grass fed steak sandwich which was delectable. The staff are friendly and greet you with a smile as soon as you walk inthe door and the manager Dean is very inviting and a breath of fresh air to speak with. Highly recommend ???? Read more
I went there for the first time and had a sustainable grilled salmon. It was delicious. I will go back there soon.
Food was delicious. Feels a bit like a train station when dining there.... Maybe that's why the name Urban Plates .. bit steep... on the pricing but generous portions and super fresh! Read more
I wanted to eat Thanksgiving Dinner somewhere nice for a change. I was alone for the holiday with my dog and needed to find a... dog-friendly restaurant. I came in, sat at the patio, and used their app to order dinner and a side of chicken for my dog. Iwas so thrilled to find the chef stop by, greet my dog, and ask if he could put rice and carrots in with my dog's chicken. Well, they brought out her food and water, and moments later, I got my steak with Brussel sprouts, carrots, and potatoes. It wasall delicious. It was especially nice knowing that we were checked in on. I was the only person sitting in the patio, whileother people sat inside with their families. For a single person on a holiday, this really cheered me up. Thank you so much toUrban Plates and your wonderful staff who made Thanksgiving memorable.
