The absolute best beef and ribs we have ever had!!!! This place is so uniquely rustic and friendly!!! And the warmth and... friendliness of the owner/ bbq master only adds to the experience! He's so lovely and passionate and loves meeting people!! Areal MUST when in or around Torrey or Capitol Reef NP !! We stayed the extra night in the area just to have that dinner again!!Peter- wow !!! This is hands down the best food in the area! And on top of that, this is probably the best BBQ I?ve ever had! The meat is... extremely tender, the sides are incredible and the chef came out to greet us personally and ask if our meal was ok. If you?re inthe area, I highly recommend you stop and eat here! This is a MUST! This BBQ place is truly the best! We read the reviews and actually stayed at the Thousand Lakes campground... because of it. The atmosphere is great. I love the outdoor feel with amenities of being indoors. It rained so hard while wedined and we stayed dry but had the feel of outdoor dining. The chef is personable, passionate and so friendly. And...he evenhas tofu! Everything was OUTSTANDING! The meats were tender, perfectly seasoned and nice sizes. The coleslaw tasted like a pinacolada...with hints of pineapple. The mashed potatoes were the best we have ever had! And the cornbread and honeybutter were offthe charts amazing!!!Please do not miss this place. It is only open certain times of the year....so plan your trip accordingly. We cannot wait to go back! Read more

We had the 2 combo dinner with BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken and was just the right portions for the 2 of us and they were really... good. The creamed corn was different than other creamed corns we have had. There were other vegetables mixed in the creamedcorn. Very nice atmosphere. Read more
Great BBQ food, the whole menu is delicious (I was especially impressed by the salmon). The owner is lovely, a great cook and... truly cares about his customers - many of whom are local/repeat. Great for groups who want a fun fabulous meal. Read more
