Went here for my birthday dinner on 11/09 around 6:45p table of 7. My family walked in an we stood there for 10 minutes or so,... no big deal! A young girl walked over and said " how many in your party"? I answered 7, she eye rolled in discuss! They put 2table's together, not very busy, sat us down. Another young girl came over 25 minutes later and took our drink order! 25 moreminutes we received our beverages and she took our order. She brought out really stale chips with over watery extra spicysalsa!! Food came out 30 minutes later cold, very poorly prepared. The pinch de Gallo was made with red chili flakes instead ofjalapeños!! Way to spicy, and I can handle spicy, this was overbearing! My wife and kids food was the same, inedible.. I nevercomplain or return my food, this time I said something to our server!! Didn't care never, came back to check on us until thecheck was in her hand.. she saw all the food on the table uneaten! Didn't care.. 154.00 I left went to taco bell up the streetand had a better meal... really really sad!! I will never return.. EVER my advice drive to Thomaston instead.. my better place.. Read more
Salty food, terrible service. I ordered fajitas and (not our waitress) delivered and dropped sizzling hot fajitas on table and... hot fajitas juices went all over my face, arms and clothes. I didn?t get an apology. No manager on duty to resolve issue Read more
This is the kind of place I usually look for and the atmosphere was homey. The building is tired but that's okay. The staff is... friendly the chips are good and so were the nachos. I ordered the grilled pork burrito and I think it could have been amazingbut it was perhaps the saltiest meal I have ever eaten. I really should have sent it back but I'm really bad at that. We would go to this restaurant often for years and also highly recommended it. Something has changed. A friend of mine listened... to me had dinner there and told me the food was terrible. Finding that hard to believe we went for my birthday. Big mistake.Something has changed. Everything tasted the same . You could not tell if you were eating chicken, pork ,or beef! Some sort ofweird red sauce in everthing that tasted horrible. Even the black beans had the sauce, the worst. My husband always ordered 2sides of those beans., never again. Not sure what happened to this restaurant, very disappointed. Will not be returning, sadbecause we really enjoyed the food before. The gambas were so salty you could not eat them. Read more
This place had nice decor on the inside and I was excited to try the food. Unfortunately the food fell short. They used canned... chicken in the burritos and quesadilla. Canned chicken has its own unique taste that is hard to cook away. They might use it inother items too but that is all the chicken products we ordered. I also ordered the steak quesadilla and it was very large andfull of cheese. There were not many steak pieces in the quesadilla which was also disappointing. Authentic Mexican food and nice choices of drinks. Pina Colada and Margaritas were nice start to our dinner. Enchiladas and... seafood stews were outstanding! Background Mexican music was also charming. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us excellentservice. Read more
