Easy to find location with both on street paid parking and free parking in lot behind building. Our server was amazing. We sat... outside as it was a beautiful evening but lots of indoor seating. We had eggplant fries for appetizer and these were perfectcrispness and more than plentiful to share with our table of four, family style salad which was huge and delicious, and 2pizzas- the New Haven pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The pizzas are thin and slightly charred which we absolutely loved. Hardlyanything left to take home because it was so good. So this was a tough one. The restaurant is lively and busy. My daughter didn't want pizza and the gentleman on the floor, ... maybe an owner/manager, offered to make her anything kid size. They don't have a kids menu. I thought that was really nice. We ordered the sweet heat BBQ chicken pizza and a Ceasar for the table. Drinks were quick and the food hit the table in areasonable time. The pizza was amazing. Chewy, great leoparding, and just the right amount of heat and sweet. My only issuewas the Ceasar. It didn't seem seasoned and the the croutons were chewy. I said something to the server, but she kindabrushed it off. We barely touched it. In the end I paid the bill. I'll be back for the pizza and the gentlemans kindness, butnot the salad. Read more
Wood fired deliciousness! We love the thin crust and wings with the sweet heat! Can be a bit of a wait, but worth it. This type... of thin crust must be eaten at the restaurant? not the same by the time you get it home. Read more
Sasso's is located right in downtown Torrington easy to get to and with its rustic roomy dining area inside and comfortable... outside dining area its a nice place, I believe they have live music sometimes. Parking is limited as its right on main stthere's a lot up the street near city hall and the shopping plaza as well as parking behind the Warner theater. Pricesreasonable and service quick. I normally go here for their pizza which is delicious, but decided to try brunch. I was not disappointed. Everything was great!
