Traditionally, Mexican restaurants use corn tortillas for tacos and tostadas. This restaurant uses flour tortillas. Being a... Celiac, I wish there would have been some indication that all items on the menu were made using flour tortillas. When we askedfor just some corn chips to use to eat the taco and tortilla fillings/toppings, we had to wait 15 minutes for the staff to make"deep fried" corn "chips". What Mexican restaurant doesn't have corn tortillas chips on hand. In addition, they charged usan extra $6.99 for the side of oily corn chips - which had no taste and were very greasy. We were very disappointed in thisestablishment. I know it's a struggle to run a restaurant in a small town, but the owners need to make some effort if they wantto attract travelling tourists. We came in with a very big party with lots of kids. Our waitress handled us great and did well putting up with our antics!
Service was prompt enough. The food, however, was very bland and actually made me nauseous. Also overpriced when considering... what you got. Edit: Glad to know that the owner takes criticism well????. I?m a man, so definitely not this supposed Alex theycomplained about. I ate as much as I could stomach, paid, and left without complaining. It?s quite sad to see the owner attacksomeone who left a review simply explaining their experience instead of learning from the criticism and working towards makingthe dining experience more enjoyable. We stopped for dinner on our way to South Dakota. The staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely amazing (every single... one of us finished our plates off!), the portions were large, and the homemade tortillas were spectacular! So much so we boughtsome to take with. We will definitely make this a place we stop each year on our way through. Read more
Terrible food and terrible customer service. The chips were soggy and the food was so bland, no flavor. I did not eat my food... (nor complain about it) and a woman (manager? Owner?) came out aggressively tell me that this is ?real Mexican food? and I haveto pay for the food because I ordered it. I never asked to not pay for it, nor did I ask to speak to anyone about the food. Thewaitress was even embarrassed by her bosses behavior. She apologized and said her boss ?was stupid? and she wasn?t going tocharge for the food I didn?t touch or take home. I never write reviews and would have blown it off and just not gone back, but Iwas appalled by the way I was treated by the owner/manager. Save money and go elsewhere. Read more
Great Mexican food. Service was good. The super burrito is HUGE. Highly recommend the chili rellano with sauce.
Just had dinner there. We have spent a lot of time in this town for work ( Railroad) and this is the first time I've eaten... there. Very very happy with this place. Food was delicious , prices are great, very clean restaurant, very nice inside, and thestaff were really nice. Nice family restaurant. I plan on going there when I eat out from now on. Read more
Carne Asada fries were to die for!!! Service was very friendly and helpful and swift!! Clean establishment!!
