SUPER SUPER SUPER Rude customer service. I called for a bagel the worker hung up on me so I figured we got disconnected. I... called backed, he stated, ? He didn?t have time for this?. I have never been to the place and that would be my first time going.Horrible. If they are horrible to me over the phone, God knows how horrible the food and cleanliness of the place is. Extremely sad. I?ve been going to Eli?s for YEARS, basically my entire life in Montville. Their quality has gone down over the... years but this was the last straw. Awful bagel, extremely rubbery and hard to chew. Paired with an extremely small amount ofTaylor ham and one small piece of cheese, unmelted because the entire sandwich was cold. The owner is by far the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I called to order a bagel ???? to be picked up because I was... pressed for time. His response to me was you called to place an order just for a bagel in a RUDE tone. I don't care if I'mordering one bagel or 12 bagels you do not speak to a customer like that. Hell will freeze over before I ever give thatmiserable man business. There are plenty of other bagel businesses in town that treat their customers with respect unlike theowner of Eli's ????????????. One of the best bagels around that deserves to be out of a strip mall and in it's new stand-alone location. My chicken salad on... sesame bagel was fresh, generously portioned, and came with a free bag of chips. My whole family loves this place especially formorning Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches!
