Another very disappointing order. Pizza was over cooked (it usually is) with lite cheese (seemed much less than a plain chees... pizza) and pepperoni. Steak tip salad had four small pieces of steak. The two items came to $35.29 definitely overpriced. It?s consistently not consistent. An Italian sub comes with 3 1/2 slices of provolone cheese??? Definitely not enough for a sub.Three full slices used to be the standard or it was when I made sandwiches.. I wonder who writes the great reviews, theyobviously don?t know any better especially having only a few poor choices for mpizza and subs/salads in Townsend to begin with. Read more

I've lived in or near Townsend my whole life. I've been going to Sophia's for decades, through all the different owners. I've... always loved their food, never had a bad meal / pizza / dessert. Hint: Don't order the Greek Spinach Pie dinner. All you get are 4 2 1/2" triangle appetizers which were frozen before cooking.... They should really take it off the menu until they begin offering real Greek spanakopita, with a serving size large enough forthe price. The others at my table enjoyed their meals. Fast service and very affordable prices! The french fries and fried pickles we got were great. Our subs were all right.... Definitely a decent option if you are looking for a quick bite to eat in Townsend. Read more
I normally don?t have a problem with the food here at Sophia?s but I thought I would explore the menu. It?s been ok until I... ordered the tuna sub. Very tasteless. And Watery. I?m thinking maybe frozen and thawed out. I won?t be ordering the tuna subagain. But as for other items on the menu Very good. Read more
