I had a fantastic omelette presented beautifully on my plate. It was done perfectly, not runny nor brown. The hash browns were... crispy yet buttery and my chocolate cheesecake muffin outstanding. We dropped in on a rainy Saturday morning after camping in the nearby National Forest. They were busy and shuffling folks... around to get them to fit. It is a nice, small cafe with good food and great service. They were having the same issue aseveryone else with a shortage of staff but were doing an amazing job of making it work. Clean and cozy reaturant with 7 tables and a bar to eat at. Extremely busy do to the rain. Food was excellent.
The real gem for this restaurant is the catering service! Kelly does an AMAZING job working with you to create the perfect menu... for whatever you're hosting. And they'll deliver it! I had them cater my birthday party lunch and dinner; three dinners when mywhole family was in town; and a large work lunch. All were excellent. The pricing is beyond reasonable and to not have to workof cooking or clean-up makes this magic. Some of my favorites were: lemon chicken, pulled pork, mac n cheese, salad with fruitand raspberry vinaigrette, corn bread with cinnamon whipped butter, fresh rolls with herb butter. Such a cozy and welcoming place! It feels like you're stopping by a friend's house when you walk inside. The prices can't be... beat and you get a ton of food! $6 for a huge cheeseburger and a very generous portion of fries. I've been told they have thebest french toast so we'll be trying breakfast next. We'll definitely be adding this to our regular stops when we're up north! Read more
