Never again! Used to love bonchon and order every week. I ordered bulldak chicken which is served with tteobokki ( not present )... and white rice ( which they didn?t send). The dish that is supposed to be stir fried looks like stew, katsu is burnt. The sizeof the drumstick for the price is laughable. Do not recommend! Read more
As a Korean American, I wanted to support an Asian owned business. I?m sad I did. I waited for 30 minutes for my food only to... find out it accidentally got put in the to-go pick up food. I had to walk up and ask where my food was. I didn?t get an apologyor explanation. Read more
I had the bulgogi and the soy garlic wings. I wasn't too impressed with the bulgogi, but it was still decent. I'd definitely... order a larger size of these wings because they were delicious! My husband had spicy and he enjoyed his. Oh and the black cherrysoda is so good! Read more
This place was great when it opened, and has gone downhill, especially in the past few months. Refer to the photo for the... laughable size of the so-called side. It used to be 5x more than this before Oct. 2021. The size of the drumstick has greatlyshrunk too. I thought it was temporary, but it's been worse recently. Terrible food, low quality, almost no seasoning on seasoned fries. Tiny portion of bulgogi for $4 as a side. Chicken was barely... sauced frozen chicken strips like you?d get at a grocery store. Nice counter girl, clean restaurant. Will never return. Read more
We came across Bonchon while running errands the idea of Korean fried chicken mixed with a fast food element in was to... intriguing not to give it a try. We got the 8 piece spicy ???? which probably could've used alot more sauce but the chickenitself was cooked very well, crunchy on the outside very juicy on the inside. I?d never heard of the place until I was invited by Yelp. This is honestly some of the best fried chicken I?ve had. It was... crispy even after it sat for awhile. I got the sweet Thai- I highly recommend it. I gave it 4 stars because of the limited menu,but otherwise, the food was good! I personally didn?t care for the dessert. Terrible experience, and probably the last time our household orders food from this company. We ordered 30 piece strips, and... received a partially destroyed box with pieces of chicken averaging about the size of a half-dollar, maybe smaller. A few of thepieces literally had no chicken, and were just clumps of fry batter. The sides of pickled radish we ordered came completelyunpickled; just poorly diced raw radish.
