My uncle was very pleased with the fried oysters here. I ordered these at 3pm during the “dead time” between lunch and... dinner. The order came out of the kitchen so quickly my head spun! I live in Towson and didn't know this place exist. Stopped by tonight and was wonderfully surprised. I got the fried oysters and... they were some of the best I have ever had. I also had the "Hutzler", shrimp salad on garlic bread. Great service. I will becoming back. Read more
The Gourmet lives up to its name. We’ve ordered take out from here twice now and let me just say we’ll be back again and... again. The sushi was a surprising hit, the crabcake sandwich was delightful on soft, airy focaccia. The short rib entree wasworth every penny. 5 stars. Read more
Went to Kenilworth Gourmet on a snowy night. There was still a lot of people at the restaurant. That told us it would be worth... the visit. We ordered cocktails before dinner and they were great. A martini, clean and crisp, and an old-fashioned perfectlybalanced. We ordered oysters Rock for an appetizer and it was hot and full of spinach and flavor. Entrees selected wererockfish platter and halibut platter. Both were wonderful and done perfectly. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable. Otherstaff were equally attentive. This was a bad weather night but KG was able to give us a great dining experience. Highlyrecommended for anyone wanting a wonderful seafood dinner. Read more
For a place that hasn't even had it grand opening, this place is running on all cylinders. This was my first time there but I... WILL be going back. My first OH Yeah moment was when they brought out the water in thick ice cold glasses. I had the St.Mary's Oyster Salad and it was delicious. It was dressed before I got it, although they did give me a choice, but I'd ask for alittle less dressing the next time. The oysters were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, just perfect. I ate outsidebut the interior is fabulous. Can't wait until they start using the piano in the bar. Big shout out to Jackson my server. I had a great evening my second time coming into the restaurant. I ordered a Caesar salad which came out warm but, Darius the... bartender got me a new one right away. For appetizers I got the Old Bay Shrimp & Old Bay butter wings. I enjoys both appetizersonly complaint I have is the menu says the shrimp come tossed in Old Bay Hit Sauce but, the sauce came out on the side. The menuwas misleading hopefully they change it going forward. My food came out fast & hot I got the short rib which was mouthwateringthe short rib just melted in my mouth & the risotto plus was amazing the broccolini was ok just wish it had more flavor mayberoasted or a lemon pepper seasoning overall they were crunchy & yummy!
