I had Subway for lunch and was using the tables outside (that were clearly marked Aldos). And, with a smile on her face, a woman... poked her head out and asked "will you be joining us for desert?". It was the most professional and respectful way of letting usknow we were exercising bad etiquette by using their tables. Im glad she asked us to come in. I was having a tough day and wasirritable and upset. The staff was very friendly. I wanted something simple and was offered a dairy-free yogurt. It was exactlywhat I needed. It tasted just like regular frozen yogurt. I found myself smiling the rest of my work day. Aldos- Im sorry if Icame off as rude. Thanks for getting me out of my head today. Aldos Italian Ice and Gelato, a family run business, hit it out of the park! They nailed it!! During my visit including my... family, we ordered a Dole Soft Serve, Mango Italian Ice, Lemon Cookie Gelato and an Afgogato. Everyone in my family expressedamazement after tasting their delicious choices. As soon as we stepped in line (yep, it is a very popular hot spot, so beprepared to wait a few), we had time to browse the incredible selections and food handling. The areas in and around the businesswere clean and neat and all servers handled the selections in a sanitary manner. They were extremely friendly, helpful, andpolite. Their ice cream is good, but unfortunately I believe the owner the older gentleman was rude. Every time I come in to get ice... cream or a DoorDash order the owner is not welcoming and kind of tosses my items to me but I don?t see him do it to others whenI am there. Amazing gelato. A little pricey, but it?s so worth it. I got a pint of lime gelato, and it was the perfect mix between sweet and... citrusy. They have a large variety of flavors, different sizes for everyone, and I even saw on the menu that you can get a bundtcake with a gelato scoop on top. That?s pretty creative.
