Usually I give Mr pickles 5 stars but the last 3 times I have come in, according the the receipt mark v. Was the register and... all 3 times my sandwich was wrong. It is possible he is new but I am very specific in how I have it made and anytime he isn'tthere the sandwich is perfect. I know Mike and Patty run a good shop and I usually don't have complaints but this guy cannotseem to get the order right. Maybe he needs retraining or a different job. Just moved to the area and found that getting food that is not a taco or burrito is a 10 minute drive from where a work. I... ventured further one day and found this place. Wow! The sandwiches are amazing. I've tried several. The Mr. Pickles and theBig Jake are excellent. So far this week, I've had the Got Beef and the Manhattan. You really can't go wrong at this place. Ialways get everything on the sandwich on a Sourdough roll. I love it! I think it's made fresh there. Sure tastes that way. They also have a sliced sourdough which they recently started carrying but I haven't tried it. I assume the guy at the registeris the owner, really cool if you need suggestions. The staff is all very nice and hand you your sandwich when it's ready. Check it out, I may one day have tried it everything on that menu! Read more
First time trying this place , had the "Big Easy" sandwich ... chicken salad with avocado on their unique "crunchy" bread ,... delicious . They even threw in a free fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. Will definitely go back :D Read more
They have full potential to get a five stars from me. I'm giving them one less star because of following reasons. Hope they will... take some cognizance of them. First off, their Dutch crunch is too crunchy and too hard. Second thing, the wait time was like20 minutes. I understand the covid situation and short staffing issues and the flood of online orders, yet a 20 minutes waitingfor an in person order and that too in a 'deli sandwich shop' is little too much for me. Lastly, I felt like AC wasn't reallyworking. Having said that, I believe they were very professional, everybody was wearing mask, it seemed very clean andorganized. Also the sandwiches were delicious. ???? And the cookie was so soft yet crunchy from outside. It felt so freshlybaked. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Do I recommend? Definitely. Will I go there again? Certainly. Btw, this wasmy first time visiting this store, and I was comparing it with Ikes where I generally go to (Dublin), and they are at the top ofsandwiches, as per me, but Mr pickles is definitely my second pick. 2 weeks ago I had mr pickles for the first time in livermore and as soon as I took the first bite I fell in love with their... sandwiches. I have tried few of their sandwiches but Manhattan is still my favorite sub. Also I love the free cookie on theside. It just makes day better. This mr pickles location is inside a small shopping center and close to other restaurants.There are plenty of parking spots available. Mr pickles here has a medium sized dining area which was not busy during my visit.Girls working there were very friendly as well. All in all highly recommended. Read more
