Thought the pizza was good but the same you could get at a dozen other places in the area, no hate just a very basic recipe and... similar ingredients. Nothing wow or different about it. Cheese sticks I would also say pass. Very dry and doughy. Not the melty,stringy cheese that we prefer with cheese sticks. I order dollops of ricotta with bacon. Delicious! Even my wife likes it and it?s rare we agree on food. There are better pizza... places in Pittsburgh and in Penn Trafford, but there are not better pizza places that deliver in Level Green/Penn-Trafford thaninferno. First time at Inferno. Very well done all around. Simple ordering and arrived within 5 minutes of approximate time. We ordered... our family ?go to,? tomato bacon pizza and added cheese balls. Ordered a Sicilian pizza waiting 1.5 hours and it was burned I called she said we can send another one but it will be about an... hour. I advised I already waited 1.5 hrs for a 50.00 food order we ate it but it was way over cooked she said sorry and offerednothing else. Leaves an enormous amount to be desired. Order accuracy: 5/5, our pizza was prepared as a requested and ready at the stated... pick up time. Sauce: 3/5, with exceptions. The original sauce tastes like a simple in-house recipe with fresh tomatoes.Unfortunately, it is slightly heavy on oregano, and lacks additional flavor or sweetness. I feel this sauce is better suitedtoward an Italian style pizza with fresh mozzarella as opposed to an Americanized pizza. Where?s the sweetness? Thegarlic? Crust: 1/5, it was a thin crust pizza. Unfortunately, we noticed a somewhat rubbery texture when eating the non-toppedportions of each slice. This textural upset was somewhat noticeable while eating the topped portion, too. With hardly anyadditional flavor, this crust is a disappointment. Toppings: 5/5, as expected. Fresh and non-soggy toppings with smallpepperoni in plentiful amounts. The regular topping portion here is what you?d call ?extra? at the other local pizza shop.Perfect. Cheese: 1/5, forgettable. Had we ordered a plain pie, we?d be sorely disappointed. The cheese on our pizza felt likean afterthought - not a major component of the pie. Final thoughts/Overall Rating: 3/5. It was a pizza. We are looking forwardto trying Inferno?s signature ?Inferno Pizza,? and some of their other menu items. However, for a new local pizza joint, we?drather eat elsewhere for now, and leave inferno for our non-pizza desires. Read more
