This place is almost grown up! The food is definitely a cut above even when popping in for a burger and a chicken sandwich which... was stellar! I couldn’t recommend it more. My only issue is with the atmosphere and a mild seating annoyance (Our host andanother who seated a couple after us tried to sit us at a table that was right above another seated table and right behindanother one. The restaurant was empty aside from the few of us. Nobody wants to sit on top of each other in an emptyrestaurant.) As has been the case for ages, the newest incarnation of restaurant/bar space in what we locals call the TNsuffers from an atmospheric identity crisis. The decor screams cocktail lounge, the food screams steakhouse, the prices screamaged establishment and the music screams dance club. I have no doubt once this place adjusts their music to match theirclientele and learns how to seat people this place will earn top marks. The food is AMAZING! Read more
One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Steak and lobster was done perfectly- right down to the seasoning and temperature! Nice... ambiance, and a perfect choice for a date night. Finally. Finally, you can get a great steak in Trail/Castlegar. First time eating here tonight and they nailed my steak.... Temperature, seasoning , everything was perfect. I ordered an extra shrimp skewer and it was cooked perfectly as well. Alsoordered a Cesar and the garnish had steak on it! Nice little touch. Will definitely be back, regularly. Read more
