Their pizza crust is amazing. It's thick, and so crispy. I enjoyed their pizza from start to finish. It's tiny inside, but... definitely worth trying if you're looking for deep dish pizza. Read more

Stopped in for dinner on our last night in Traverse City before heading home to Pittsburgh. Really glad we did - pizza was... incredible and the best Detroit style we?ve had. The owners seemed genuinely nice and they were really supportive of theirkitchen staff. They were really busy but the vibe inside was overall great, despite the amount of orders coming through! Wouldrecommend to go to at least once if you?re in the city. Read more

The Pep in yo step and the heatwave Margherita Pizza was great. If you're familiar to buddy's pizza in Detroit it's very... similar. Great pie! Read more

Super friendly staff. We called about their hours and they threw in our pizza ahead of time so when we dined in it wouldn?t take... as long to wait. The pizza was super buttery and delightful. Loved the sauce! Read more

Great crust. Buttery. Crispy. Ordered a veggie and a pepperoni, as well as breadsticks and an antipasto salad. Breadsticks... are the pizza dough, so expect that thick, buttery, crispness. Pizza was really great. The sauce doesn?t stand out, buteverything is well balanced and flavorful. Definitely considering another before we leave. Read more

Great place for amazing pizza. Got there early on a Saturday and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner later the same day.... Menu has some innovative pies for people that want something different as well as the more traditional toppings you?d expect. Ifyou?re having trouble deciding, they?re happy to give recommendations for you and were spot on for me. Read more

I was on my way back from Suttons Bay and was looking for a casual place to get food. Tucked away down a narrow alley road, I... was super happy to have found this hidden gem. The owners moved here from Colorado to start their family and this ?Detroit?themed restaurant. I put it in quotes because a real Detroit style pizza place would be a bit more grittier. Don?t let that swayyou from eating here though because the pizza was phenomenal. They only make 70 pizzas per day on a first come first servebasis, allowing them to really dial in the quality. I ordered the Achilles peel pizza which was one of their specials that day.It came out hot and crispy from the oven. The toppings were fresh and nicely distributed. I also got a lamb meatball, which cameout swimming in some marinara with a garnish of fresh basil. It was a beautiful meal, accompanied by a cold bottle of rock andrye faygo. The staff were super friendly and the repeat customers sitting at the bar gave it a nice local feel. It was also funto see the decor they chose to represent the big D. Would definitely want to come back here when I come back through TraverseCity in the future Read more
