We loved this place! On our mini honeymoon trip to the area, we came here on a recommendation from our wine tour guide, Dave.... The service was awesome and the food was super yummy!! We had pot stickers, sushi, steak, and Brussels sprouts - if you don?ttry anything else here, you HAVE to get the Brussels sprouts!! They were some of the best we?ve ever had! Although definitely amore upscale place (we personally prefer more casual) it was a very nice experience! You may get some weird looks by othercustomers if you show up in jeans and T-shirt?s like we did, but that?s beyond the control of the establishment and we wouldabsolutely return again when we?re in the area! Food was great. We started with the beef skewers and tuna nachos, and split the salmon entree. The beef skewers were insanely... good. The tuna nachos and salmon were also great. The rice was a little mushy but still tasted good. We waited about 30 minutesbut it was worth it. Great atmosphere as well. Read more
We just got finished eating here. My son and I both got the NY Strip steaks and they were fabulous. My husband got the Thai... peanut noodles and loved it. My other son got the Fish & Chips and liked that as well. The only issue had with the restaurantwas the long wait an hour on a Monday. Lol! Read more
This place has great atmosphere, vibe, and food. Sushi ???? is the bomb and the selection is great. Our server was attentive,... personable, and quite frankly a pleasure to talk with. Would highly recommend if you want to chill with some friends, enjoysome delicious and creative food, talk over some handmade drinks and overall just enjoy yourself. Read more
Delish! The Husband worked all day and was super hungry. This was a few miles from the hotel and so far Firefly Restaurant is... the best food we had here in Traverse City. The husband had a Buffalo Bacon Burger but he substituted the Burger for chicken. Hewas sooo happy. He really loved the breaded, deep-fried jalapeños that was on his sandwich. I had Fish n Chips. The food was delicious. I ordered the Buffalo Burger and my girlfriend got the peanut Thai. I had a bite. It was so good. The... portions were great. If you get the side of fries it is hefty. The atmosphere is nice and service great! Read more
We stopped here mostly for the small plates and we weren't disappointed. We got two different sushi rolls, potstickers, and... sweet potato fries. Everything was good. The cocktails all sound good, and we tried the Blueberry Smash (which wasgreat). The staff is really friendly and the place is clean. The ambiance is really modern and relaxing. It's in a goodarea... not far off the main shopping area on Front Street. It's on the water, and there are nice views from the seating by thewindows. I'd like to go back and try some of their entrees. They also have a few (igloo) tables outside for colder weather,which would be fun. Read more
