I made a reservation for noon on a Sunday. It should have been busy, but it was dead. I was greeted by no one. I couldn't find... any staff and just one lone customer at a table who looked at me and just shrugged after I made a second loop around therestaurant looking for anyone to seat my party which I put a reservation in for. My wife and I were coming through town and stayed at the best western. We went downstairs and ordered the steaks tips. To say... the least we were blown away. Even the side salad was amazing. With 2 drinks we were out for $30 and the food was first rate. Better then some of our $150 plus meals at fine steak houses. Way to go. Read more

Went here for my birthday and, while the food was good quality, I felt as though the server didn?t want to be there. The whole... service she was space and she acted as though or table was a giant burden. I get it, serving parties for birthdays is never fun,but it was me, my parents, my fiancé, and my 13 year old brother. It?s not like we were boozing it up and getting rowdy. Thewhole dinner it felt like she was trying to push us out the door and it really tainted the whole experience. I would considercoming back in the future because the food was good quality, but for a restaurant that puts on the air of finer dining, thecustomer service was extremely off-putting. Read more

Great food and friendly service. I loved the white chicken chili, fast fit a rainy day in TC.
The server was either on drugs or needed some for his mental issues. We never made it past coffee with our breakfast before we... left and put in a complaint. Our server sighed in frustration as we sat in his section and told him we wanted coffee and waterfor breakfast. He never returned in the 17 minutes we waited while he had only 2 tables ALL TOGETHER. It was early and we aretable three for the day, not busy or overwhelmed. This dude instead talked to himself in mumbles for 10 of the 17 minutes whilehe fumbled around and organized napkins RIGHT NEXT TO OUR BOOTH. This guy had three tables and forgot about one immediately, sohe could talk to him self.... Would be a one star review if not for the cool host who sat us. The hotel is far too nice to havethese kinds of things in the restaurant area. There are so many cool places to eat around traverse city, I would not waste mytime with this place. Read more
