What about a great view, fantastic farm to table food, and great service? Have you had that lately. If not and you are looking... for the ultimate Michigan dining experience, then Mission Table is the place. We attended a wedding ceremony as the sun setacross the bay. What a view. What a feeling. We were then treated to great food prepared on site, perfect filet and charredchicken breast. It's not often to pay for a meal and believe it was a good value. We had our wedding at Mission Table 10/8 and everything was amazing and stress-free. We booked this without ever seeing it in... person and were really happy with how everything went. It is a stunning location, nice and easy that ceremony is right there,and the building is gorgeous and requires very minimal decor. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and the staff was friendly.Coming from out of state I really appreciate how transparent all details were for planning (why do other places make it sodifficult?) and how responsive Barb and Madi were to questions. I got married at Mission Table on 10/15/22 and it was simply beautiful. Our food was wonderful and our event coordinator Barb... was very knowledgeable and helpful. Albeit a little short at times. We did have problems with the public entering our eventspace as there are no posted signs. Everyone was very polite and left when they realized that a wedding was taking place. Therewas also another wedding on premise that day and that bridal party entered my event space with their photographer to takepictures just before my ceremony. That really wasn't appropriate and if I had it to do over again I would have spoken with staffabout signage to keep public/other weddings out of our dining room. Even with these interruptions this space was magical and ourstaff was very courteous. Especially our bartender Karen! She was lovely. It truly was the most wonderful rainy day of my life.I did knock a star off because my parents were charged a $100 fee when my very pregnant sister in law got sick in the bar. Iunderstand cleaning up a mess like this is not in anyone's job description for private events but it did seem a littleaggressive to me. She wasn't some over served jerk. She was 6 months pregnant and struggling. All said, I would recommend thisspace to anyone especially for a moody fall wedding. Thank you to our whole team at MT. Read more
2 hours ago We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mission Table's Harbor Room last weekend. They allowed us to arrange the tables and... decorate earlier in the day. We had about 34 people, including children, and three with dietary restrictions. The Chef was verycognizant of the restrictions and delivered a delicious dinner for all. We had many compliments on the food. From the Chef toMadi Bystry, our event coordinator, to the bartender and the waiters, who were all so responsive to our requests, it was awonderful evening and great start to our wedding weekend. We recently held my son and daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner at Mission Table; upstairs in the Library. It was very easy... coordinating the event with Madi and Barb. The room was set up beautifully, the food was outstanding, the service wasaccommodating and so pleasant, and the bride and groom loved it! Communication with Madi before the event was key. I asked lotsof questions and she was prompt to answer. Like anyone, I was a bit nervous how everything would turn out. It was lovely!!! Read more
I can't recommend Mission Table enough as a wedding destination, especially if you're planning something small! It's a gorgeous... location, right along the Grand Traverse Bay, the weather was perfect, and everything was handled with top-notch attentivenessand service - Barbara for getting us started, Madi for organizing and planning out the details, the staff for getting everythingset up and the kitchen for an OUTSTANDING dinner after the ceremony. Amazing food with a great atmosphere! Our service was good and their menu had a great choice of beers and wines (which only... features local options) along with tasty options for dinner. I ended up getting their burger and it was really good! Their frieswere also very good and paired really well with my beer that was from the brewery next door. I would recommend makingreservations as this place is extremely busy all nights of the week during the summer time. Read more
We got married at MT on 11/5/22. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Madi and Barb was top notch during the entire planning... process; I heard back from Madi within hours of emailing a question. The day-of can be a little tight timeline-wise, but that?sto be expected with their style of venue. I felt so taken care of personally during the wedding - I was never without a glass ofchampagne, and Madi made sure I had more of the one appetizer I liked best!
