I’ve had Italian from Italy as well as different states in the US. This is by far one of the top places I have been that the... food is exceptional, the staff is complimentary, and everything from the atmosphere and little touches were thought out. Icould go on about both the food and the staff, but food tastes as though you were eating at someone’s home kitchen. Nothing isleft wanting. Amazing dining experience at Pepe Nero’s this evening. An absolutely fabulous experience which exceeded all our expectations.... Our waitress, Sarah, was fantastic. She was attentive, but not intrusive, ensuring our dining experience was wonderful. The foodwas world class and matched or exceeded the best we have experienced on four continents. Chef Giorgio Lo Greco stopped by ourtable adding to our experience. A world class restaurant with delicious offerings, a beautiful ambience, and spectacularlyprofessional staff. My sister-in-law and I had dinner at PepeNero before our Twilight Village Commons tour. I loved the ambiance and our server was... knowledgeable and super helpful. She took great care of us. I had the smoothest most flavorful mushroom soup to start and themelt in your mouth branzino for dinner. My sis had a wonderful salad to start and the fantastic linguini for dinner. Oh andthe best cocktails to start, mine was a Dino’s Margarita (which has ruined me for any other margarita as it was just thatamazing) and my sis had the black Manhattan. Oh and the mini-truffles they served us after dinner (we didn’t have room fordessert) were dream-worthy! All exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend PepeNero. My teenage daughter and I dined at Pepenero two nights ago and the experience was fantastic. Brad, our server, was... professional, polite and very helpful navigating the varied food choices. Once the food arrived, we were amazed by the qualityof the food and the overall flavor. Each dish was a perfect blend of spices and sauces over tender and sumptuous cuts of meatand freshly made pasta. And the dessert was to die for! We don’t make it to Traverse City often but when we do there is nodoubt we will return to this fabulous restaurant. Read more
What a delight! We've enjoyed dinner here several times and it is always wonderful! The best in Traverse City. The service team... is always welcoming and accommodating. The food is outstanding! Recently, my wife had gnocchi and I had the branzino, each wasperfectly prepared and delicious. Every time we are in TC this is the one place we always want to enjoy, none better! Read more
