Truly an excellent time and the food was phenomenal! We had a party of 20 hosted upstairs and service was incredible. Our... waitress Lizzie was extremely attentive and charismatic and was very informed on the menu overall! Our food was amazing too! Igot the chicken Parmesan and it was delicious. Please take this as a warning in case you're looking for a good dinner. Save yourself the money and make a better pasta at home.... 1) The food tasted like a freshman college student's first cooking attempt. We had the lasagna and the fiorentina. Lasagna hadno ricotta despite the menu. It was also swimming in grease. The fiorentina the restaurant decided to substitute Bleu cheeseinstead of gorgonzola. The best tasting part was the spinach. 2) The service was just bad. I usually give a lot of leeway formistakes, but we constantly felt like an afterthought. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted by a hostess. The food came out beforeour drinks (we ordered a beer and a sangria?) And the waitress stopped by other tables far more often. 3) Restaurant was overrunwith wait staff. There were probably 50% wait staff to customers and yet no one had any idea what they were doing besideswalking around trying to be busy. Overall it was extremely disappointing. The money is gone now... Fair warning Read more

My husband and I stopped in here late and the hostess (manager, too I think), Christina ran to keep the kitchen open as we were... on the cusp of them closing. Alex at the bar was so sweet and she took great care of us. The food was delicious, but the servicewas particularly incredible. Read more

Wonderful dinner to celebrate last night in TC. We tried Flying Noodle at 6:30 on a Sat night, and they said it would be 90... minutes. No thank you. We then tried Sorellina, which was so amazing that I had to write the review. First of all, it's ahidden gem on Front St because it blends in with the Chase Bank. That's good because you can get a seat. Secondly, the serverwas so kind to our family, even though it's a little bit fancy. She was great with the kids. The food was excellent, and thepeople watching was fun. Skip the hype of Flying Noodle, and walk down to Sorellina! Read more

Our service was terrible. Alex was our server and showed she clearly did not care about our table at all. It took over 10... minutes just to be greeted and when she did she asked if she could get us drinks started. We said no but asked to put inappetizers (we had plenty of time to look at the menu at this point). She interrupted me to say she was only asking for drinkorders. We said we weren?t getting drinks so she left our table to get drinks from all the other tables in the section (we wereall sat at different times). She went to all those tables, got their drinks, corrected their drink orders then finally after 10minutes came back to us asking what apps we wanted. We were reluctant to get apps at that point but was excited to try them sowe did. We placed our apps and main course order at the same time stating we were hungry so could have it all submitted at once. They brought the apps out and after a very long time our dinner arrived. Which was clearly waited to submit until the rest ofthe section ordered because we all received our orders at the same time despite the huge time gap from placing the dinnerorders. She never came to check on our table until it was time to ask for dessert. We said no and it took her forever to comeback with the bill. We in no means wanted a fast food joint, but we did expect some sort of prompt service especially after theprice we paid for honestly inadequate food. Not that she ever bothered even asking us how it was. Would not recommend thisrestaurant and would avoid this server at all cost. We have never had this type of service in Traverse City, we were HIGHLYdisappointed. Coming from a past server I totally understand getting in the weeds and getting oversat, but if you can?t handleit tell your boss or at least have an ounce of sympathy for ruining an experience for your guests. We ended up going here since the Flying Noodle couldn?t take orders due to their system being down. It was pretty good. Husband... and I both got wine which were good house wines. I got the chicken Marsala and it was pretty good. There was something in itthat had a bit of a bitter taste compared to other masalas I?ve had. My husband had the salmon which he said was good. We alsogot the chocolate cake since we were celebrating our anniversary and that was very good. Service was a bit slow took us almosttwo hours to get through the meal. Read more

Out of all the restaurants my husband and I ate at during our 5 days in TC, this was our absolute favorite! The food was SO... good! I had the Chicken Alfredo and the sauce was amazing. My husband had the Salsiccia Italiana (baked Italian sausage, marinara, and rigatoni) and this was also exceptional! We took bites of each other's food throughout our meal because we thoughteach dish was that good. For dessert, we had the cannolis and again, these were amazing too! The drinks we had from the bar werealso wonderful and the service was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere as well! Reservations are recommended, even with just twopeople. Don't worry about how to dress - we were worried that we might be too casual (didn't pack any formal clothes for ourtrip) but the hostess said there was no dress code when I inquired while making a reservation. We will be back for sure the nexttime we are in town. Highly recommend! Read more
