Absolutely exceeded my expectations for the place. If I had to describe the pizza in two words I would say Cheesy and Crunchy.... When you eat the middle of the slice, it was cheesy. When you ate the crust it was like a potato chip with how crunchy it was.Perfect Flatbread pizza. (The only reason it is 4 star is because I don't really understand why you need to go to the bar to getyour drinks), and 3 dollas per drink? Dang. Thats just harsh. But I definitely recommend this place!!! Read more

A fun experience! Their gluten free crust is also dairy free which was awesome for me because I have allergies. I got the vegan... pizza they offered on the GF crust, it was delicious! No waiters, you go to the bar and order. Honestly preferred this way ofdining out. Friendly staff, working at a quick pace to keep up with the rush. They did a good job. Read more

The service here was amazing. The staff were are both friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. Say... nothing of the impressive beer selection. The notes were helpful indicators of what to expect from each ale, and we wereespecially impressed by the strawberry wheat ale, which was excellently balanced. The pizza, oh the pizza, was cooked toperfection and clearly the cooks put effort into making a good pizza as the toppings were spread evenly and also felt like thequantities were thoughtful without being excessive. Given the chance I'd come here every week with my family. Kudos to thismicrobrewery Read more

Went here for a Friday night dinner. Pretty good service, pretty good beer, and pretty good pizza. The only down side for us was... the pizza was on the greasy side. But definitely worth the stop if you're in Traverse City. Read more

We ordered a pizza to go. Memphis pizza was looking really good at the other table so, of course, we had to get it. Now we have... it home, it won't last long. While we waited, the husband ordered a flight. He loved the Iron Junction which was a bourbon beer.I just had an Orange Cream Soda. It taste exactly like a orange cream soda. The pizza is thin crust. I'm usually not a big fanbut giving it a try. Wish it had more options. Read more

My husband and I had a wonderful visit at the Filling Station Microbrewery back in November! Despite a long wait for a table, we... were quickly guided to the bar while we waited. While we didn't personally try the beers, they had a great selection and weloved the bottled sodas and the spinach artichoke dip! (We'll have to come back and try the draft beers when I'm not pregnant!)When we did get a table the service was wonderful, all the serving staff was great, and the pizzas were delicious! And eventhough it was busy that evening we did not have as long as a wait for food to be served as we feared there would be. We'lldefinitely be back next time we're in the area! Read more

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of The Filling Station. Pizza was great, but do be warned?the ranch is terrible. It was extra... watery and had a really odd taste - didn?t seem like ranch at all. Great selection of brews, amazing salad, really nice staff.Overall, loved it. Will be back! Note: Don?t be put off by the ?outdoor? seating. I feel that it?s more indoor style, but justwith larger open windows. Think hotel/resort with no true enclosed front door. Overhead heating lamps were perfect and I neverfelt cold. From what I understand, they will move to an enclosed/indoor dining as the weather gets colder. Attached a picture totry and show what it?s like. Read more

Love this outdoor dining place. It's right by a railroad track, as the name implies. We heard the salad choices were amazing... and it did not disappoint. I love the arugula salad with figs, pears, and gorgonzola cheese. It was so yummy! Also had theWolverine pizza. Their pizzas are cooked in a stone bake oven. The crust is thin, crispy, and really great tasting! They alsohave a great selection of beers! After eating, there is a little park by the water you can walk to close by. We loved the freshfood and ambience. Definitely coming back! Read more
