We stopped in for lunch because they could seat us immediately (other nearby restaurants had 45 minute wait times) and are we... glad they did seat us! We were on the hunt for breakfast, but came here around 11am on a Saturday. Wife and youngest shared apizza, oldest son had chicken wings and I ordered the reuben. We all were very, very happy with our meals. The place doesn'tlook like much on the inside (sort of a "dive bar" feel to it), but the service was quick and the food was very tasty. Stopped in for a late dinner on a Monday night. My wife and I were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive but... didn't hover. The onion rings were hot and fresh. I got a hot dog and a gyro. Both were delicious. My wife also got the gyro. Weboth highly recommend the gyro and onion rings. Celebrating our friend's 40th in Traverse City and was looking for a bar that was open late on a weeknight. Found this place and... was happy we did! Our experience here wasn't too bad. We liked it was open late since we had just come in after a five hour drive. The place was... packed and staff was rushed but it was still pleasant. The food was not at all a step over bar food. My fiance had a burger andI had a grilled cheese. It was more of the "grateful to have food" type of situations rather than "it was good and we'd eat hereagain". Otherwise, my fiance and I enjoyed our drinks and the atmosphere. Read more
