The burger I ordered was great and the taco salad my wife ordered was excellent and large portion. The boneless chicken wings... could have been a little hotter temp but tasted great. Very friendly service by all. Not sure who the gentleman was that came bytable to to see how the food was and thank us for stopping but it was greatly appreciated!! YOU WANT TO GO HERE! Hands down the best restaurant in this area. The old school diner dinner atmosphere is unbeatable. The... staff were incredibly friendly and made you feel right at home. The menu has a great selection and you can't argue with theprices. Food portions are HUGE! We had burgers today. They are 1/2 pounders, juicy, and full of flavor!! The inside wasextremely clean which is a huge plus in my book. One of the best parts is that the owner came over to chat and ask how we likedeverything and if we needed anything else. Food was not good , hash browns tasted freezer burned, pancakes were cold, ???? won't be back! The former Trego Dinner Bell is back! Now Jessie?s Diner. It?s Saturday and I stopped in to give it a whirl- just opened... Wednesday. We used to stop in here for the generous portions and seating area choices, from the little atrium to tables tobooths. Very reasonable specials and lotsa menu choices, even for breakfast. I had the French toast special with sausage n hashbrowns. As the pics show, very appealing and good size portions. They lost a couple stars for WiFi that didn?t work, warmcoffee, and it took too long for my food. All these can be corrected and this nice little diner has the potential to be 5 stars. Read more
The exhaust in the kitchen doesn't work well, the whole place is hazy and smells like fried food. Lasagna was like stewed tomato... and unseasoned burger. Burger meat was like meatloaf. One inexperienced waitress. I'd love to say this place is great, they area local family owned restaurant, but it wasn't, on this trip. Breakfast is good though.
