We hosted our extended family at Jack's after my wife's funeral. It was great. The room was set up for us when we arrived. The... service was unbelievably fast. This place was really well run, really quick, and the food was delicious! Would recommend to anyone in Tremont.
Everything was made to order and spot on ... place was busy we were not rushed. I had a ribeye steak and eggs over easy ...... steak requested medium rare that's tough with a 8 Oz but they cut their steak and it was medium rare juicy and tender... we willbe back next time I'm ordering the 12oz with eggs !! Took my side kick Darryl here after church services. I try to take him some place different to dine every Sunday when possible.... He loves cheeseburgers and Mountain Dew. The restaurant was super busy when we arrived and Darryl isn't a patient guy, butmiraculously they had us seated in about 15 minutes. To put it mildly the customers were on the older side with canes andwheelchairs, etc. Very crowded, but efficient. They were all smiles ???? and of course I had to smile also . I had baby beefliver with grilled onions and mashed taters while Darryl had a volcano burger and his Mountain Dew. Burger was loaded withjalapeno peppers. Right up his alley. Food is good and great service, most of the time. When the owners aren't there service isn't as good. Prices are reasonable and... they have great daily specials. Sunday do not try to go there between 11:15am and 1pm. You are going to wait any place at thattime. The problem is you have to wait in this small area at the front of the restaurant. They will not take your number tosend you a text or call when your table is ready. There is only room for 6 people comfortably and if someone is paying thats astretch. Read more
Met out of town family. First time here. Food was delicious. Loved the fries. Omelet was huge. Pancakes melt in your mouth.... Reasonably priced. Excellent service. Clean bathroom. Read more
Absolutely delicious! Stopped in for lunch, I had never been before and the special was stuffed peppers, a favorite of mine that... I do not get to eat often because my family does not enjoy it as much as I do. Two lovely woman working, one sat me and otherwas my waitress, both were very attentive to my needs. If you are driving by Tremont I suggest a stop in to give Jacks a try. Inoticed they do serve breakfast all day also. I will be giving that a try next time. Read more
Not fancy but the food is good and prices are reasonable. I received my meal in a surprisingly short amount of time after... ordering, considering that there were pretty busy at the time. The waitress was more than busy with several large parties, butdid a great job and still managed to chat us up a bit and make us smile. This is a good place. Read more
