We arrived on a music night. The sign by the door said to seat yourself, but when we tried to, the waitress was so rude we... almost left. We tried to explain about the sign and she rolled her eyes and walked away after telling us to make a reservationnext time. We went outside instead. We helped the outside staff set up tables and turn on the heat lamps. We went to the insidebar to order drinks and the bartender asked us to order everything through her because it would be faster. I wrote out ourorder, but she got so much of it wrong. Whatever. She fixed it. It was just frustrating. We left after one round because thevibe was just off. Their Pretzel Chicken Sandwich was amazing! A little heavy, but of course that's to be expected for pub food. Both the tater... tots and sweet potato fries are also excellent. The prices were a little high for lunch, but you get a lot of food for yourmoney. I don't have any dietary restrictions but I did notice they had a reasonable selection of gluten free options as well. Read more
Wow! What a great meal! I had the smoked brisket & my man had the smoked chicken wing dinner. Compliments to the chef/pit boss!... Peeps I kid you not, the BEST BBQ ever! Better then some of the BBQ joints around. The smoke flavor was perfect! The bartenderwas on point! Service was efficient & professional. Unassuming restaurant with olde world gastronomic surprises! Crazy Tots are a must try. Bill's sausage is very good!
Was in the area to see a local community theater show and decided to try out Bill's Olde Tavern for dinner beforehand.... Pleasantly surprised with the quality and creativity of the specials menu. We tried two dishes from this menu... Bangers withMash and this Irish boiled bacon dish which was more like a crispy ham. Both were amazing! My companion, who has a dairyallergy, was so happy to be able to eat a great meal out. As an appetizer, we had the crispy brussel sprouts... again with allthe variety of flavors and components, so good! My other companions had the brisket salad and another brisket entree, which theyseemed to enjoy. We had some after dinner coffees and Irish coffees, while enjoying some live music that started at 7. It was agreat dinner experience that I look forward to having again when we come back in July to see another show. Read more

This place was so delicious. I'm from out of town and was looking for a good meal after a day out. Any place with Tavern or Pub... in the name is automatically better and this place delivered. It was seat yourself so we had to let them know we were there, butafter that our waitress was very attentive. She refilled our beverages without us even asking. The food came out hot and in atimely manner. Mozzarella sticks were crispy and the fries were well seasoned. I got Bills Chicken sandwich and it was beterthan Popeyes or Chick-fil-A, with bacon provolone and chipotle ranch. Filling for a great price! Read more
We had always enjoyed Bills over the years. However, last night we were extremely disappointed. The waitress, was very rude. She... had an attitude with us the entire meal. It took close to 40 minutes for my daughter to get her water. And even though myhusband specifically ordered his hamburger with no cheese and only lettuce.. she brought him a burger with bacon and cheese.When we complained she took it back and just scraped the cheese off and gave it back to him. All with attitude. She came to ourtable a few times with the wrong order.. and it took forever to get our simple meals. ( pizza, brisket and burger) I’m sureshe must have been going through some personal stuff.. but I need to let you know she really put a damper on our dinner. Myhusband and I live close by and had been enjoying your back yard music over the summer. But it will be quite a while until wereturn. Read more
