Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. Ordered a tomato pie with onions and green peppers. It surprised me by being... more like a pizza than a tomato pie, but it was delicious. A cold glass of Stella Artois, and I was full. They don't have apersonal sized, so I took half the pie home with me for lunch the next day. It tasted just as good. I've eaten there before, and the only complaint I had was that the ravioli was overdone. Their house wine is excellent. I don't know exactly how longFreddie's has been open, but I know my parents and their friends used to go there in the 40's and 50's when they were courting. You have to have good food to stick around that long! Food was the saving grace. Expansive menu, but minimal staffing for a Friday night. Long wait for cocktail service. Ordered a... bottle watching the other tables wait frustration. Glassware was not clean. But was remedied. Food was good but exceptional. Itwas out quickly though. Afterwards dishes sat for nearly 30 minutes while we listened to the band. Service model and supervisionwas annoyingly substandard. Read more

Came here on a Friday night. Dining area had plenty of space but of course the bar was packed. Live band they had on was... amazing. Great music. Our server was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helped steer us towards some good entrees when Iwas being indecisive. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms. They were excellent, not too chewy or salty. Nicelybalanced. My mother got the sea food fradiavolo with white wine sauce and she thought it was divine. Our server suggested Itry the stuffed pork chop special and boy was she right! Huge, nicely seared pork chop stuffed with spinach, ham, and cheese. The sauce was really tasty and the pork chop was cooked to perfection. I think we will definitely be stopping by here againnext time I'm in town. Gotta support small local gems like this. Read more

Came for Happy Hour beverages. Quiet and peaceful bar atmosphere where you can actually make conversation with each other. ... Seems to be a real "locals" kind of place, as I saw many people greet each other as they arrived. Very casual and friendlyolder crowd. I saw food come out of the kitchen and it both looked and smelled good! Freddie's has been there for ages and isstill going strong, it seens. Read more
