THIS AINT IT! My fiance and I were craving Jamaican food and our usual spots were busy so we decided to try this place out... WORST DECISION EVER the food is not good. I ordered stew chicken and got a sloppy mess of bones and tasteless meat. That Mac andCheese is blocky and dry and you don't even want to know about the fried plantains. The "Trenton Ice Tea" has Seamoss and that'scool but I didn't know that and I don't want to drink that. All in all ILL NEVER ORDER FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN. Read more

Food was old & spoiled! Had to throw away 2 entire plates. I ate 2 spoon fulls before I realized how awful the food was and it... gave me severe diarrhea. I wasted my time & money and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! The Dapper chef shouldnot be in business! this restaurant should be shut down by the department of health!!! The worst food I've ever purchased.Everything from the rice to the meat & vegetables was old and spoil! Run!!! Read more

Was in the area yesterday on business with my sister and son wanted some authentic Jamaican cuisine before heading back to the... Jersey shore Stopped in and I'm am so glad we did. We were greeted with a warm smile from the owner who took our orders whichincluded some of their homemade drinks! We ordered stew chicken, curry goat, jerk chicken and oxtails. Each dish came with ahealthy serving of baked mac, a baked sweet potato, Jamaican rice and peas, cabbage and a tasty fresh tropical diced salad whichconsisted of pineapples, mango, cucumbers and red cabbage. Every bite was delicious! The food is made with love perfectlyseasoned and prepared. Even got a free slice of black cake. We will be back highly reccomend this place. Read more
I got the oxtails with rice and beans, and cabbage. The oxtails were very tender, however, needs more seasoning. Rice and beans... were good and not dry like most restaurants. Also, because the platter itself is already on the messy side in terms of take homecontainers, they need to invest in actual containers and not plates. Overall, the food was good and with just little changeslike that, it can be the best Caribbean restaurant in Trenton. I think I will give them another shot. Not sure how new thisplace is. Read more
Photos give impression of something more upscale, best for takeout. I’ve had better curry but it was no doubt delicious with a... nice array of authentic spices. $10 plate with large portion of meat and rice. Cabbage and Mac stife which is typical ofCaribbean spots.
