Good, classic French cuisine. Generous portions. The table d'hote is given verbally first...nice touch but so fast it's hard to... fathom. Same with desserts (no written list/prices). Also no list of wine by the glass. Cordial hostess. Busboy blunder:removing my plate while my husband was still eating. Unfortunate: plastic flowers. Read more

One of my all time favorite restaurants off island. The food is always delicious, the wine isn't overpriced and the service is... second to none. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are also a chocolate maker, so the complimentary chocolateswith an expresso is the best. The restaurant is always in demand, so reservations are a must. The decor is country farmhousewith a nice fireplace, so pretty awesome on a winters day. Again, a little pricey, but at the end of the day, worth it. Read more

I have been going to this restaurant on and off for about 30 years. It is a wonderful experience every time, with top notch... creative and local food, made with care by the hard working family of owners. Not cheap but quality through and through so youget what you pay for. Always happy to support local, and especially these people who have weathered significant hardship overthe years and keep bringing us incredible food and service with a smile. Read more

I found this restaurant simply by browsing the area while I was looking for driving directions. It seemed unusual for a... restaurant of this caliber to be far out in the woods. I made a booking to find out what it was all about. I was pleasantlysurprised by my discovery however very remote: there is no cellular phone reception. The owner greeted us with a warm welcomeand we were seated by the fireplace which is centrally located inside the dining room. All the dishes ordered were nicelypresented and were just as delicious. The portions were adequate and left us with a feeling of satisfaction. The wait betweencourses was ample. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you don?t mind the drive. Read more

Excellent fine dining and service for remarkably reasonable prices. Very warm, intimate atmosphere off the beaten trail. The... restaurant is nestled in the woods and the dining room has large windows so you can watch nature as you enjoy some very finedining. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on their menu, and the menu is very flexible when itcomes to ordering. They also have a good wine list with reasonable markups. All in all, a top notch experience was had. Willreturn. Read more
