We were just passing by and noticed this beautiful bakery. They have their menu listed right before the entrance in a way that... tempts you to go inside and try something. We asked them for all the items that did not contain eggs, they were so friendly andkind to go back, check and confirm. Their hand made pies are out of the world. Right amount of sweetness, right pastry thicknessand the fruits were sweet. They have also written the price on top of each item, which is actually helpful. I run the Blue Dragonfly Inn B&B in Cimarron, NM, and a family staying with me had bought a multi-layer chocolate cake for their... son's wedding at Philmont. I'm going to call this cake "Death by Chocolate". So many layers of divine goodness and textures,and so incredibly rich. It was gorgeous inside and out. OMG! Best sticky buns EVER!!!! They?re so delicious. This from someone who didn?t like pecans. The cinnamon rolls ate devine as... well. They made my strawberry 3-layer birthday cake. Amazing! My husband loves their chocolate eclairs as well. I lije thecream puffs. We?re 45 miles away, and we make the trip to Trinidad just to go to Colie?s. That says a lot about how good theirpastries are. Today I came in just for a sweet treat. The establishment was extremely clean and employees were beyond nice. The pastry were... very sweet but still very good.
