Took 1.5 hours to get meal after order placed for one french toast breakfast that we shared. They must have been short staffed,... so we were kind to those who came to work that day. Our service was great, very attentive and nice server. Food was dry, andnot great tasting. Its really hard to run a business with insufficient staffing, so I can't be mad. There was a personsuffering from mental health issues outside the window we were seated by, causing some issues with traffic. It wasn't a greatatmosphere, so sad to see, wish I could help more. They were trying to do the best they could considering the circumstance,for Sunday morning breakfast. Read more
Strongly suggest immediate recruitment of waiters!! Pros: close to truck stop next door Cons: Very busy during lunch... hours Waiter never came to us but only to bring food Ignored poor doordash kid lol Had to call another waiter to get herattention Pie wasn't all that tasteful (chocolate creme) Tall waiter was VERY loud, yelling across the rest Service notacceptable ... We were seated right away by a pleasant server. We ordered the French dip and breakfast bowl with pancakes. Both were ok. The... bread for French dip was good. The sweet tea wasn't very good but drank it anyway. You can also purchase alcohol with your meal.Very limited choices though. Not a bad place to eat if you're in the area. Location is right across from a truck stop which isgreat for truckers that want anything other than fast food. Read more

Silverware was placed on my table covered in soap scum and nastiness. When I asked for clean silverware, got attitude from the... waitress. Otherwise the food was good, French dip a bit small, but the auju had a good flavor. Wife enjoyed her pancakes andbreakfast items. Well here we go again with another Trucker review of another restaurant while on the road. I had to drop a load in Portland,... Oregon and all I had to eat all day was a muffin and coffee. I pulled into TA truck stop to shut down and I saw the "Shari's"restaurant sign. It was about 3:00 PM on Friday. I had to bypass fastfood from the truck stops. Now this place does not looklike much from the outside, and it was not busy at all when I walked in. Danielle was my server. I ordered the roast sliced RibEye. I wanted a LOADED baked potato, but they were not ready before four PM. Danielle said I could have the mashed potatoesLOADED I had a salad with Honey Mustard dressing. The Salad was huge in portion-size, had baked croutons, tomatoes and cheese.Honey Mustard dress was so-so. The Rib Eye was good, tender and served Au Jus. Not Steakhouse quality mind you, but good enough.The broccoli was hot and well cooked. Unfortunately, they lost one star because the Loaded Mashed Potatoes were not hot!. Itsfresh mashed potatoes alright, with chopped real bacon bits, cheddar etc. I asked Dannielle if she could bring a small plate, soI could slide the mashed potatoes on it and she could give it a zap in the microwave. She happily complied and when i got itback it tasted great! I eyeballed the dessert menu, as they brag about their pies! I had the Apple Pie that had the crispytopping. Its supposed to be Deep Dish and the photo of the pie on the menu certainly looked deep, but when I got the pie, itlooked like a regular piece of cut apple pie. No matter, the pie was delicious! Apple's fully cooked and well seasoned and thatcrisp topping was outstanding! I enjoyed it with ice cold milk. I spent about $28.00 & change including tip. The Apple Pie sellsfor $3.99. Disgusting! After review of my to go container, it's gross! Wiped with finger and my finger is black. Hair and grease in it. I'm... disgusted.... Ordered a BLT sandwich, salad and milk. Got half a sandwich, and milk. $15.00. Absolutely ridiculous! What a joke! Read more
