My daughter and I had lunch here. We both got the fried shrimp, fries and tea.Maybe I didn't pay attention and sides were extra... but for lunch I paid $44 not including a tip. I was shocked! But I think what irritated me more was the shrimp were nothingbut floured and fried. Absolutely no seasoning, not even salt. Needless to say, neither one of us ate everything. Verydisappointed!! I was very unsatisfied with the whole shebang. After being in a wait list. But it was how we were ignored by the girl at the... door while she chatted with friends or others. What made it awful was being told they were out of oysters... none on the halfshell...only fried. So after driving 30 miles to eat oysters. And 2 phone calls. And going inside to get on the wait list. Nobody told us about the oyster situation. There should be a sign or something to let people know about it we stayed and gota cup of awful gumbo and blackened snapper which was good. This is just wrong. I would have eaten elsewhere. That's just notacceptable in my opinion. We had to interrupt the servers chat to get napkins and drink refills. Not sure why they didn't tellus prior to being seated. 3 stars is a generous rating. It was a terrible experience for us for the first time eating there!I guess you have to reserve oysters to be certain they will be available when you arrive.
