on 9/11/2022 spoke with someone per the below response from them. I was told that its standard to add gratuity but the server... should have told me so that I make the decision to add $15 tip. Since we were not explained and I did not notice, I added $15 astip. I am told now that they will address $15.00, not the gratuity and also apologized. Due to this call and further courtesyand explanation, I am changing from 1 start to 3 star with additional detail in review and will still be careful to visit theirrestaurant. --------------------------------------------------------------- I took guests with me total of 9 people. Theyalready probably added $42.02 as gratuity on top of 233.57 which went unnoticed until 2 days later. Although I added $15.00 tipbut when I look at the receipts 2 days later, I was upset because total tip now is $57.00. Why would you add $42.00 Gratuity?When I called them on 09/05/2022, to inquire, gentlemen said we are busy and call us tomorrow for such stuff in a very rudetone. I was robbed but I have to wait. LaMarsa has been a favorite of mine for many years. Their food is amazing and the staff is always polite and offer wonderful... service. My mother and I used to frequent the Troy location quite frequently but she recently passed away. LaMarsa was theonly venue that could accommodate a memorial luncheon on such short notice and they did not disappoint!! Wonderful service andsuperb food! Read more

If you're looking for superb quality Lebanese food. Then you need to eat at La Marsa. Out of every Lebanese restaurant I've... tried in the metro Detroit area. The La Marsa Chain is in my opinion the gold standard of local Detroit Lebanese food. The Troylocation is fantastic just like the other La Marsa locations around the Detroit area. Read more
The food was so good the host was so welcoming the service was fast and amazing and they were so polite and nice to the kids.... I used to often take my Grandparentd here and they loved it. Unfortunately this place has gone extremely downhill specifically... for some of their Shawarma/Chicken dishes. I've ordered some Shawarmas to go and it was so 'off' the chicken was dry, stringyand almost tasted like fish. It was definitely undercooked with very pink centers. I asked around and confirmed from friendsthat the quality has been taking a hit in the last year or so. I wish I had a better experience with La Marsa and they amp uptheir shawarmas back up again. I ordered a quart of salad dressing. The measurements were off because I could only taste oil even after numerous shakes. They... forget the garlic sauce but gave us plenty of bread. I think I will try Lebanese Grill next time. Read more
