I love this restaurant. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Their Polish plate is true to Polish traditions and recipes. Their... menu offers something for everyone. Attached is the rest of my meal that I brought home to enjoy later. So good! Read more

I?ve only eaten there as a catered wake affair (menu and some off menu items) but it has been above excellent. Fried mushrooms,... and ranch dressing, fried chicken, rice medley, sausage and sauerkraut items were without a doubt the best and tastiest I?ve hadanywhere by anybody. The rest of the items , coleslaw , soups, and cabbage rolls were excellent equivalent to the best I?ve hadelsewhere. Nothing I?ve eaten there was in the least disappointing. No exaggeration. I?m told their catering exceeds anyoneelse?s. I?ll go to the restaurant for regular service soon. It has a standard family Resturant menu and appearance is standardwith other family restaurants but the taste of the food is what sets them apart. My relatives and I make every dish I had thereand 90% of Lukiches dishes are even tastier. Worth a couple of tries to be sure ins my opinion. Read more

Great local diner I found while staying in Troy, seeking a good, homestyle place to eat that reminds me of home. Staff is... friendly and accommodating, portions are hearty and filling given the prices. Order was prepared quickly. Look forward to goingback. Read more

Small family-owned diners are places that customers looking for a good meal with a good price can never go wrong with. However,... as first time visitors, our experience was subpar. I?ll start with the good first though. Their selection of soups was great, Iabsolutely loved the dill soup. They provided sliced sandwich bread and crackers on the side. The Reuben was fantastic and Ithink that it was the best thing we ordered today. The pricing was very reasonable. On the other hand, my plate of grilled cod(substituted since the perch was unavailable) was mediocre. The fish was chewy and bland, the veggies were slightly over cooked, and the potatoes, although fresh, were bland as well. The dining room itself was cozy but could use some renovation work. Ourwaitress was very friendly but seemed overworked and frazzled and even spilled our beverages a tiny bit. I hope to return againfor the (highly-regarded) breakfast and hopefully with a better experience! Read more

Friendly neighborhood Polish restaurant. The patty melt was excellent. The turkey sandwich is a typical traditional turkey... sandwich, it was good. The prices however, over all, are quite inflated. Read more
