My husband and I chose to celebrate our first year anniversary at Ruth Chris. It was his first time dining there, so he was... excited. He liked the idea of the dress code being dressed, for he is a dresser and love wearing a suit. Our greeting was great,they told us happy anniversary and sat us quickly at our table. Our server was GREAT!! We ordered an appetizer and it was prettytasty. Our salads came out and they were also tasty. When our entrees came out, our steaks were sizzling hot, but our sides werewarm to cold. So they replaced then and still they weren't as hot as we would have liked. Also, we ordered brussel sprouts andthe were under cooked a bit. At the end of our meal we were given an anniversary dessert, the bread pudding which was delicious.My husband was a tab bit upset that with the dress code guidelines there were people coming in with jeans and baseball caps. Hedidn't appreciate that and feels that restaurant should enforce the dress code guidelines for fine dining. Overall we enjoyedour time there just hoping the next time we can give a 5 star rating. First time at Ruth's Chris, everything here was as you'd expect from an establishment selling itself as fine dining...... complimentary valet parking, service, atmosphere and food were all very good. The dishes were very rich (almost too rich) andthe portions were good but at the end of the meal we felt as though something was missing for the price. This is a nice steak and seafood place but not what it once was a few years back. They scaled the menu down during Covid and a... lot of my favorite dishes are gone. The once loved scalloped potatoes are no longer sliced, now they are tiny cubes and theportion is very small. I had the shrimp cocktail which was very fresh. The steak was nicely trimmed and perfectly cooked. Oneof my favorite salads is still on the menu, Ruth's Chopped salad. The ingredients are the same but the presentation haschanged. It seems like the huge turnover of employees know nothing about the old Ruth's Chris and what the food was likebefore. Even the menu is a plastic disk like you'd see at Chili's instead of the elegant book style. Every restaurant thatturns corporate eventually sells out and loses its original magic. Read more

Me and my mother had an amazing time here. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were plentiful and flavorful, the... wine was a great choice. The only issue is the entire staff referred to me as a woman the entire time I was there. I will admitthat I have long hair but there was no excuse for this problem to have been made repeatedly. Upon entering the establishment meand my mother were greated by the phase “good evening ladies” and upon leaving I we were told “good night ladies. As Istated me having long hair will cause me to be mistaken for a woman. The only issue is the fact that the men and women who tookme for a female had already been corrected once. This goes to show that your staff does not pay attention to the customers. Ihad a good server though. He was a great man and was tipped very well. I’d fire the greeters who continued to disrespect methough. The meal was great and service was well as well. However the lack of attention that you pay to your guest won’t gounnoticed. Ate here on Christmas- it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious. We had BBQ shrimp, spicy shrimp, and shrimp... cocktail for appetizers. My main dish was the cowboy ribeye, and I can't describe how delicious it was. I also had a chocolatesin cake for dessert. It was EXTREMELY rich. I had some vanilla ice cream with it and it was decadent. Evan, our waiter, wasoutstanding. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. 1000000% recommend. We have been enjoying the wine dinners the last few months. We were unaware that these dinners took place until a few months... ago. We are so happy we now know. The dinner offered is a set menu complete with appetizer and dessert. The meal is comprised ofa selection from the chef which is paired with wines from the Vintner of the evening. We can't wait until the next one our lastone, we had the opportunity to purchase some of Wagner's wines. One of our favorites, Caymus which is one of our pup's names toowas also included.
