Iam shocked by my lunch today. Hoshi is usually outstanding, and I usually order sushi. Today I tried something different, wrong... choice. The small circles in the picture are shrimp shumai. The ad at the counter showed 5 for 3.95. I only got 3, not 5. Iwas charged 6.50. They were very small, not much flavor at all. The crab Rangoon had lost all filling out of them. I just ate one of the BEST Fried Philly Rolls I've EVER had! This place has absolutely delicious quality sushi! My son LOVES the... hibachi plates! Let me backup; when I was en route, I... was expecting a food truck on wheels, but I'm glad to see this place has its own brick and mortar establishment! The place isauthentic and very nicely decorated. I love the atmosphere and the cozy cafe vibe. The staff are very friendly and helpful ifyou're not sure what to order. The sushi is ???????? -- truly some of the most amazing sushi I've ever had. The service was sofriendly, fast and they're always mindful to ask if you want extra sauce (it's the little things). The sushi, veggies, rice andsauce were all fresh, and the serving size for the price is unbeatable.
